Story
REGGIE Roxy (all black) is a 2 year old female that was found with her last years’ puppy, Reggie (white face) 1 year old female, living under a car in a rural area. They were taken to the pound and it was there that they discovered Roxy was very pregnant. Unfortunately none of her babies survived and she has been spayed. These girls were scared to death at the shelter, so much that the shelter was ready to euthanize. We were alerted that they needed a rescue to get them out and we said “YES” and gave them their “get out of jail free” card. Both are now spayed and current on vaccinations. Just getting these ladies out of the shelter and into a home, they have completely made a full recovery. Roxy loves to run around and is more independent than sweet Reggie. Reggie stays pretty close to you wherever you go, happily wagging her tail. Both girls will come back when called and we are working on potty training. They are very smart so I have no doubt it won’t take long. They get along with all the other dogs at the rescue and all people. They are just sweet, happy, loving and mellow little gals.

Story
My name is Freda. While I’m still gaining confidence I am a kind girl who is gentle spirited. I am eager to learn and just want to please people. And when I gazed lovingly at you, you can see that. I love treats, and chin scratches and KIDS. I LOVE kids! I am learning to walk on a leash but still need help understanding no on is going to hurt me. I hunker down because I can't help it. I just need someone to show me things are all right. I am uncertain around other pets so it would be best if I was an only dog. Note: Freda qualifies for a shelter discount due to her age of seven years old. She will be spayed before adoption.

Story
Delilah is a shy and adorable border collie mix that came to Murci's Mission from a local family overwhelmed with intact dogs and puppies. In the process of getting everyone set up for spay neuter, we were able to welcome Delilah into MM for the purpose of adoption. She has a known birthdate of 08/16/2024.  Delilah is somewhat behind on social milestones, but she's still determined to thrive, quickly making friends and sorting out new situations without too much strife. She is crate trained and leash trained, and she's well on her way to being house trained. Delilah would make a great addition to any family with room in the home and heart for a young active dog. She needs to be held accountable to continue to grow socially and is a very poor candidate for coddling which could produce a more fearful adult dog. Give her a chance to be a dog and let her absolutely thrive!  Delilah is being fostered in Western WA, but is still eligible for adoption anywhere in PNW and beyond. She comes spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $300 and includes her leash, collar, ID tag, and sample of the food she's been eating, and her medical records. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.  Thank you for checking out our girl!  ##2272828##
