Story
“Blue” our border collie needs a new home. We are moving and he needs a family or single owner who could give him lots of love. Blue is 3 yrs old and up to date with vaccines and intact but not dominant. He is used to living in a fenced yard but is house trained and never has any potty accidents (even over night or for hours during the day). He knows commands and listens well. Enthusiastic, yet can lay down or go to a kennel / dog house/ etc and spend time there. He is friendly with children, visitors, and other dogs. Unknown about cats.

Story
Lola is a 11-month-old Border Collie mix with a heart as big as her energy level! This sweet girl came to us as a stray, so her past is a bit of a mystery—but one thing is certain: she is absolutely full of love and ready to share it. Lola thrives on affection and will happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. She’s a playful, energetic pup who will do best in a home that can offer her plenty of time, space, and engagement to keep her happy and healthy. Like any young pup, Lola is still learning the basics and will need some training, but she’s a smart girl and a fast learner. With the right guidance, consistency, and patience, she’s ready to blossom into an incredible companion. Lola does experience severe anxiety, particularly when left alone or during stressful situations. Because of this, she will need an experienced and understanding adopter who can help her continue building confidence and feeling secure. An impact-rated crate (or similar heavy-duty escape-proof crate) will be required to keep her safe when unsupervised, as traditional crates may not be suitable for her needs. Unknown with other dogs, cats, and children. Lola would be the perfect match for an active home that’s ready to invest time into helping her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with lots of energy, intelligence, and potential, Leia might just be your girl. ❤️

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Apply for the pet here Meet Bear, the dashing 2-year-old Border Collie who’s here to steal your heart! At 40 pounds of pure charm and energy, this handsome boy knows how to make an entrance. 🐾 With his shiny black coat and bright eyes, Bear is not just a pretty face; he’s also a super-smart pup who’s ready to become your loyal sidekick! Now, let’s talk about Bear’s personality. He might be a little shy at first, but give him a moment to get comfortable, and you’ll find that he transforms into a loving and devoted companion. Once Bear trusts you, you’ll discover a friend for life who’s as loyal as they come. 💖 He thrives on routine and forms deep connections with his loved ones, making him the perfect partner for anyone looking for an emotional bond. If you have experience with smart, driven dogs and can offer Bear that peaceful retreat, he will absolutely flourish with your guidance. And let’s not forget his playful side! Bear loves playing ball and is highly food motivated, which means training sessions are bound to be a blast! 🎾 Bear can be dog selective, and with the right match, we would be a playful canine companion for the right existing furbaby. Bear is already neutered and gets along wonderfully with children, making him a great fit for families. Just a heads-up, though—he doesn’t vibe well with cats, so those furry felines will need to stay elsewhere. If you think you can offer Bear the loving, single-pet home he deserves, then he may just be the perfect match for you! This sweet boy is currently in a foster home, eagerly waiting for his forever family to come along. If you’re ready to take on the rewarding journey of adopting Bear, don’t hesitate to reach out! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. What are you waiting for? Apply today! Apply for the pet here

It absolutely tears us apart to write this post.Veil is a sweet, intelligent, and loving Border Collie who thrives with attention, outdoor time, and companionship. She is active and emotionally connected to her people, and would do best with owners familiar with herding breeds and their needs.Veil will only be placed in a home with a securely fenced yard or property/land where she can safely run and play. Experience with Border Collies or other herding breeds is highly preferred. She can be selective with other dogs and may need slow introductions, but with patience and time she can become comfortable. She received her puppy vaccinations and has been very healthy overall.Located in Ponderay, ID

Story
Texas Tornado has opened applications for a new leash holder. Inquire within.  Well folks, Texas Tornado, the deaf, white border collie, with an estimated birthdate of 09/23/2023 and weight of 40lbs is here to display what it would be like if that last sniff of c0caine became sentient and chugged a monster.  Let's start with the cons. She's bad a$$ so there's only a few.  DEAF. Big Deaf. No sounds entering the brain. Only vibes.  Not cat and critter safe.  Has a big space bubble when in drive and will be quite stern about correcting other dogs. Doesn't escalate to fighting.  Has to be tethered in the car.  Now for the pros. Buckle in. High ball and prey drive.  Crate, leash, house, car trained. (Rides tethered in the car)  Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed.  Clear and positive social skills with dogs and kids.  Knows basic commands with hand signals. Sit, stay/wait, come, good etc.  Off lead reliable in rural settings.  Comes with an AKC Canine Partners number to be able to participate in AKC sanctioned dogsport trials.  Started on primaries in nosework and is VERY SUITED to the work.  Ran a 2.2 mile two dog bikejor in 13:50 on her first ever attempt. 4th place in trial.  Completed 2/2 lure courses at her first coursing trial and only needs 1 more successful course to earn her CA (Coursing Ability) title.  Excellent mountain biking companion, effortlessly running 15-20 miles in one sitting.  Non destructive in the home, safe to be left crated or loose in the day or night.  Lovely, intense natural herding aptitude. Could work as a functional cattle dog with a handler able to train with a low level ecollar or vibrational collar.  Capable of much, much more than has already been done with her. She is sure to excel at any task or activity involving speed, dexterity, and intelligence.  Adoption fee is 2øø and includes a leash, collar, ID tag, food sample, medical records, and complimentary consultation with a behaviorist to help both parties ace the new partnership.  Remember- With great power comes great responsibility. Don't adopt the Ferrari when you can only drive a Honda Accord. This dog means business. Texas Tornado, AKA Tex, is eligible to be transported anywhere in the USA or Canada to a future handler who will give her an active and involved life like she has now. She would be happy with a sport or working life, or as an active pet to a family who will let her be included for major adventures like biking, backpacking, ultra running etc. There's simply too many good things to say about her and she deserves the absolute best future. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.  ##2532720##
