Story
5 year old Border Collie / Catahoula Leopard mix looking for a loving forever home. He is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves people, kids, and cuddling. He enjoys playing fetch, going on walks, and would do best with an active lifestyle and a yard where he can run and play. He is friendly with cats and small dogs, but he needs to be the only large dog in the home because he recently has been aggressive towards other big dogs. I think it’s from being scared and anxious from moving around. He pulls on the leash but I have recently started leash training him. He is fully vaccinated and has completely recovered from surgery after being hit by a car this past summer. He knows commands and can pick up tricks pretty quickly. Unfortunately, I cannot keep him because my mom sold her house and I’m unable to care for him properly in my apartment, especially with my school and work schedule.

Story
Rumi is such a good girl. She is trying her best to learn to use the potty outside. She is the BEST cuddle buddy and is eager to learn new things. She is high energy and very playful. Our senior dog loved her at first but is having a hard time not being stressed out by her constant request to play 🤣. We really want her to find a home that is patient and kind with lots of play time!!

Story
Lenny's adoption is pending. He is getting a chance to see if he will work out with a prospective adopter. They took advantage of our Foster - to Adopt program to give him a try in their own home. Lenny came to us as an owner surrender. The owner found him as a stray back in August, even though they already had a house full of animals. They decided they just couldn't have one more dog so decided it would be best to find him a new home.  Lenny is very sweet and gets along with cats, dogs, and livestock (not a working farm). Lenny has had some basic training. Lenny loves kids and would make a fabulous family dog! Lenny's owners kept his vaccinations up to date and he is already neutered, so he is ready for his forever home. Come meet Lenny and take advantage of our Foster-To-Adopt program where you try him out for 2 weeks and then decide if you want to adopt or not. We supply the food, you supply the love and attention he deserves. All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. If the dog is not old enough, you will be given a voucher for Animal Medical Center in Emmett to cover the cost of the spay or neuter. Please fill out an application if you are interested in this dog or call us today for more information.         Because we are an all-volunteer organization, please call ahead to schedule a time for a Meet & Greet so we can ensure a dog handler is available to show you the dog or dogs you are interested in.         Pet Adoption League  1526 N.
