This beautiful, medium-sized pup, possibly a Border Collie mix, came to us with her 5 siblings when their previous owner could no longer care for them. While her whole litter is quite timid, we truly believe Felicity will blossom in a loving, patient, & quiet home!Felicity may be the definition of shy, but don't let that fool you—she's incredibly sweet & longs for affection. She just needs time, gentle attention, & soft voices to feel safe. Once she warms up, her true personality will shine through! She loves being outdoors, running around, & given enough time & patience, she'll even snuggle up by your side. She also gets along well with other dogs!Outside of the shelter, some of Felicity's fears melt, & she'll even take tasty bits of cheese right from your hand. Imagine the progress she'll make with consistent love & a calm environment!If you have a quiet home & a big heart ready to give Felicity the time, love, & patience she needs to come out of her shell, please consider opening your home to her. Meet Joey, a sweet pup with an incredible story of resilience. Joey and his four siblings arrived at WCAC scared, unsocialized, and in need of a lot of love. To them, people were terrifying, but thanks to the kindness and dedication of the community, Joey has made amazing progress. He’s now a gentle, good-tempered pup who gets along great with dogs, cats, and kids. Joey is ready to begin his next chapter with optimism and a wagging tail! We believe he may be a collie mix. Please note that the listed adoption fee does not include the cost of neutering or bringing him up to date on vaccinations. I rescued river from A shelter only weighed 4 lb now weighs 71. He will be 2 years old Feb 8, 2026. He’s a really good dog beautiful! Unfortunately I had a reoccurrence of breast cancer spend a lot of time at the hospital. we found out my husband has prostate cancer now we are not able to give River the attention he deserves. He’s spoiled he’s used to being warm in the winter cool in the summer. I put picture of him laying under fan because he loves his fan in the summer. hard to describe what we have set up for him but it’s very nice even though he’s not in the house. I will take pictures send to whoever is interested so you can see his area could be in house likes both. I wish my circumstances were different I hate to see him go I want to make sure it’s someone that loves animals and will be good to him it’s not fair to him I don’t think this is a good life he needs more attention. With a heavy heart this was a hard decision. I hope he gets a great home.
