Story
Sirius is a very goofy, playful, energetic dog. He is super duper lovable. Sirius is 3 1/2 years old. We’re looking for a family who is very active always out and about. Love to take their dog anywhere they go. He definitely has a lot of energy to expel and is great with kids. Can be quirky sometimes, but loves to live in your shadow. please note that when we first got him, he was very skittish but he wasn’t aggressive, did not want to be touched for a while so keep that in mind. He also really loves cuddles but does not like kisses.

Story
Meet handsome Copper, a striking 5½-year-old pup with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life! After the heartbreaking loss of his owner, Copper was surrendered to a shelter. Thankfully, he is now safe in a Misty Eyes foster home while he waits for a loving forever family to call his own.Weighing about 60 pounds, Copper is believed to be a Red Border Collie. He gets along well with other dogs, especially those close to his size, and the companionship of a well-socialized canine friend may help him feel more comfortable. Copper is a somewhat anxious boy who can become distressed when there is too much activity in the home. He would do best in a quiet household without lots of visitors and noise, but with people who can provide the physical and mental stimulation a smart, active Border Collie needs. He loves riding in the car, although he has a very different opinion of moving vehicles—he wants to chase them! Busy roads and traffic noise are also unsettling for him, so a quiet neighborhood would be ideal. Because Copper can become cranky when stressed, he would not be a good match for a home with young children. However, for the right adult family, this handsome boy has so much potential!Copper is an intelligent fellow who would likely thrive with additional training. If you’re looking for a loyal walking buddy, hiking companion, or adventure partner, Copper may be your perfect match! If you’re ready to give this wonderful boy the fresh start he deserves, please submit an adoption application online at: https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.

Story
Great Dog. My dad has lost his eye sight and she is just too much for him. She needs to be able to run around...technically a cattle dog and she's too active for him. She is very protective and barks at people walking by typical of any quick action dog. has some anxiety when getting groomed and at the Vet. Other than that, a great dog. fetches, listens to commands, she just needs somewhere she can chase squirrels.
