Kobe is 6 years old and we adopted him in 2020 when he was 8 weeks old. He has separation anxiety and requires medication to be crated and has been destructive when left in an enclosed area for a long period of time. He’s an extremely sweet and smart dog and learns extremely quick. You are able to take away his food without aggression and he plays with other dogs well. We recently had a baby, and he’s become possessive over the baby’s toys (not his own). He’s been nothing but sweet toward the baby, but has snarled, growled, and snapped when we take away the baby’s toys from him, which is out of character. We love him dearly, but can’t risk any aggressive behavior around our soon to be mobile baby. Has never shown aggressive behavior prior.

Hi! My name is Banjo. I am a very sweet timid guy. I need the extra attention just to loosen up a little. I am timid when trying to get leashed, but I am not aggressive at all. I love treats an any food that comes at me. I do fine on leash and wouldn't mind going on a short walk nearby or let me roam in a play yard. I like attention and scratches on the head and back. I do fine with other dogs but a meet and greet is always a must. I should be fine around kids but prefer older children. I do need cat tested if you have cats in the home.To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. Meet Orion.  He is just the sweetest boy ever. He is great with most other dogs, cats, and kids.  He can be a bit dog selective, but he is easily redirected. He is potty trained, and doesn't need to be crated. He is such a gentle, sweet boy.  He would love to find a new home with kids as he adores them, but he would be fine in a home without them as well provided his new owners agree to his cuddle requirements.  He loves to run around the yard and play, he walks great on a leash, and is also happy chilling on the couch watching tv or reading a book, whatever you like. Orion has had quite the run of bad luck and we are just heartbroken for him. He first arrived at the shelter because his family had a fire and they could not keep any of their pets due to having to stay with family and friends. They were devestated to leave him. And we know why, because Orion is just the best boy, so well mannered and friendly and loving. He was adopted from us to another family, which then had to move out of their house due to their personal circumstances and were not able to take their pets with them. Orion is looking for another chance to live in a home with a loving family. Come meet Orion and we know you will fall in love with him, just like all of the volunteers at the shelter. Adoption fee is pre-paid.  ##2012207##

Annie is getting used to living inside and she’s doing great! She does well with male dogs her size or bigger. She also do well as an only dog. She is shy with new people until she gets to know them. Annie came to us a bit overweight and is working hard to shed some pounds. She does like to run in the yard but also likes a soft bed.
