Chloe Bug is a beautiful girl that was brought into us by the dog warden. She is a scared little dog. We do not know her potty training status. She is quite small but is being guessed to be 2 years old.   Stray Haven in an effort to help with the overcapacity of one of their partnering rescues, is crossposting the adoptable pets. Ripley County Humane Society is a beautiful non kill campus, comprised of three buildings on 13 sprawling acres in Osgood Indiana. Due to the remote location, they don't show up in the searches commonly made by adopters because they are just outside for the 30 mile radius of Cincinnati OH, Indianapolis IN and Louisville KY. Please take a look at these beautiful babies and fill out an application at the link below OR drop by their physical location which is open every single day from 12-330 for visitors.   If you would like to meet any of our pets, they are available for viewing, every single day from noon until 3:30pm. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Jesse, a young Border Collie about 2 years old, is up for adoption through the Midwest Border Collie Rescue in northern Illinois.  Jesse is a terrific boy who hasn't gotten the attention he should because he is a bi-color smooth-coat BC, which may seem unusual to some.  (However, smoothies are the best when it comes to coat maintainence, you should know!) Jesse is being fostered in northern Illinois and MWBCR says that he is truly a gem of a dog:  loyal, smart, loves to learn, gets along with all other dogs, not over-the-top in energy level, and with great house manners.  He's very treat and ball-motivated, which would seem to make him an excellent candidate for dog sports.   If you're interested in meeting or learning more about Jesse, please reach out to Midwest Border Collie Rescue about him. Kobe is 6 years old and we adopted him in 2020 when he was 8 weeks old. He has separation anxiety and requires medication to be crated and has been destructive when left in an enclosed area for a long period of time. He’s an extremely sweet and smart dog and learns extremely quick. You are able to take away his food without aggression and he plays with other dogs well. We recently had a baby, and he’s become possessive over the baby’s toys (not his own). He’s been nothing but sweet toward the baby, but has snarled, growled, and snapped when we take away the baby’s toys from him, which is out of character. We love him dearly, but can’t risk any aggressive behavior around our soon to be mobile baby. Has never shown aggressive behavior prior.
