Story
Bethany is a 4.5-year-old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix with a bright mind and an even brighter personality. True to her herding breed roots, she’s incredibly intelligent, active, and always ready for her next adventure. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or learning something new, Bethany thrives when she has both mental and physical stimulation. She’s a gentle and affectionate girl who loves people and isn’t shy about making new friends—strangers included! Bethany gets along well with both small and large dogs and does well with older kids, making her a great addition to many families. She’s also a fantastic travel buddy who doesn’t mind car rides at all. Bethany is both potty-trained and crate-trained, with good house manners—she doesn’t dig and generally knows how to behave indoors. That said, she prefers not to be left in her crate for long periods and would do best in a home where she can be part of the daily action. She’s currently working on her leash skills, as she can pull and gets distracted by things like bikes or skateboards, so continued training will help her shine even more. She’s alert and will bark when someone is at the door—and sometimes more than necessary—so she may need guidance to manage her vocal tendencies. Bethany also has a more dominant personality and would benefit from a confident, experienced owner who can provide structure and consistency. Because of her strong instincts, Bethany is not a good fit for a home with small animals. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic, and loving companion who will keep you on your toes and fill your days with fun, Bethany might just be your perfect match!

Story
Meet Scotty! Scotty is a middle aged herding breed mix that came to our shelter as a stray and went unclaimed. We are estimating him to be 6 - 9 years old and he currently weighs around 35 - 40 pounds. Despite his age this guy still has the energy and mind to work, as you can kind of see in some of his pictures. Whether he was trained to do it or it just comes naturally it's interesting to watch him "herd" whatever his eyes land on. Scotty also has a sweet personality and he loves to get attention from people and never far from his favorite people. We feel he would thrive in a home that has space for him to use up his energy but also spend time snuggling him. We haven't tested him with other animals yet but hope to do this soon. Scotty's adoption fee is $200 and he is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Story
I adopted Milo from Petfinders, he was a stray, and being fostered in a young couples home. We have had him for 3 1/2 years, he is 4 years old. I am very sad to have to rehome him, he is a wonderful dog, loves attention, and playing with other dogs. He has blue eyes that capture your attention. We are retired and want to travel, and having a dog can be complicated. Our lifestyle is changing and cannot give him the attention and active life he deserves. He likes to go on walks, but mostly likes to be around people and given lots of attention. He has chew toys, and can be anxious for attention at times, but he is well trained and listens to commands. I am hoping to find someone with a big yard, maybe has another midsize playful dog to play with, he loves kids too. We are not in a hurry, and will be very selective on who we pick to adopt him, so please be up front with your lifestyle and situation, we are looking for the right fit for him and you.

Story
Jethro is a fun-loving, goofy boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This happy pup is always ready for the next adventure, whether that means a game of fetch, carrying his favorite toy around proudly, or bouncing around with excitement to greet his people. He’s playful, affectionate, social, and full of life, making him the kind of dog who brings energy and laughter wherever he goes. Jethro absolutely loves being around people and thrives on companionship. He’s confident, friendly, and gentle, with a cuddly side that enjoys curling up close after playtime is over. He gets along well with other dogs, has done well with kids ages 7 and older, and would likely fit into many different types of active homes. He also keeps his kennel clean and walks nicely on a leash. This energetic boy enjoys stuffies, squeaky toys, tug games, and just about anything that keeps him engaged and having fun. Like many excited young dogs, Jethro can sometimes forget his manners or get a little mouthy when he’s overly excited, but it comes from enthusiasm and playfulness rather than anything negative. With continued structure, exercise, and positive guidance, he’ll continue growing into an amazing companion. With his long legs, unique coat, and constant big tail wags, Jethro is impossible not to adore. He would thrive in a home that can keep up with his playful spirit while also giving him plenty of love and attention. If you’re looking for a sweet, adventurous best friend who can make you laugh one minute and cuddle up beside you the next, Jethro may be the perfect fit.

(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

Story
Ozzy is a confident, adventurous boy with a goofy streak that keeps life entertaining. This handsome guy loves being out and about, exploring the world around him and keeping an eye on everything going on. He’s intelligent, curious, and independent, but he also has a sweet and gentle side that shines through once he gets comfortable with his people. Ozzy already knows “sit,” takes treats nicely, and enjoys going for walks, though he could still use some continued leash work as he learns better manners and focus. He’s an energetic dog who will thrive with daily exercise, structure, and routine to help him be his best self. Ozzy especially enjoys squeaky toys and would love an active home where he can stay mentally and physically engaged. Ozzy can be selective with other dogs and seems to do better with neutered males than females. He also appears to have a prey drive and enjoys chasing birds, so a secure fenced yard and careful introductions to other animals will be important. Because of his confidence level and personality, an experienced owner who understands boundaries, consistency, and continued training would help him succeed. He has kept his kennel clean and has done well with children ages 7 and older. With his goofy personality, alert expression, and adorable mix of floppy and pointy ears, Ozzy is full of character and charm. For the right person, he’ll make a loyal, fun-loving companion who is always ready for the next adventure.

Story
Bud-E is very playful and energetic per his breed. We live in town and have a good size yard for him to run and take him on daily walks/runs to help get his energy out. He's 3.5 years old and a full bread Australian shepherd. We bought him from a breeder, I still have a picture of his parents too. His rabies expires next year but he needs the other yearly shots due May 2026. He's not very good with little kids or babies, he's nice most of the time but can be rough with them as well. This is the main reason for rehoming him, as we have a one year old thats he's been rough with a couple times now (and some other littles too). He does really well with teens and adults. He does really well with other animals too. We all love him so much and this is a hard decision for us. He's such a great and loving dog and I hope we can find him a home he fits into best!
