Meet Tony! Toni! Tone! This one-year-old Lab/Collie mix came to us back in August after being found running through the streets of New Orleans. No one came forward to claim him, so he joined the Zeus’ Rescues family, and we’re so glad he did!Tony is the perfect blend of brains and playfulness, smart, eager to please, and full of love. He’d be the best friend your kids could ever ask for. He`s always ready for a backyard adventure, a long walk, or a good cuddle after playtime.Weighing in at about 45 pounds, Tony is up to date on shots, heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped.BONUS: His adoption fee is just $50 right now!If you’d love to wake up to those stunning crystal blue eyes every morning (and give your kids their new favorite playmate), apply today at www.zeusrescues.org.#zeusrescues

Story
Bo – Border Collie Profile Name: Bo Age: 4 years Breed: Border Collie Bo is a 4-year-old Border Collie who is looking for a loving, active home. He is an intelligent, energetic dog who thrives when he has room to run, play, and engage in physical and mental activities. Like most Border Collies, he does best with an owner who understands the breed's need for exercise, structure, and companionship. Bo is being rehomed solely because of a significant change in his owner's personal circumstances. This decision has been made with great sadness and out of a desire to ensure he has the quality of life he deserves. He would be happiest in a home with a securely fenced yard or on property where he can safely exercise and enjoy the outdoors. The ideal home for Bo would be one that has experience with Border Collies or other herding breeds and can provide him with the attention, activity, and love he deserves.

Story
MEET CHLOE!! She is a sweet, energetic, Border Collie mix (mixed breed unknown). We adopted Chloe as a puppy under the assumption she was a leopard catahoula mix. Chloe has a great desire to herd and we feel it is in her best interest to rehome her to a farm or someone who has some land for her that we cannot provide. She loves everyone, has a dominant personality, loves to chase a laser light, and loves a challenge. She is protective, loves to cuddle, and gets along with our other dogs and cat. She does like to annoy the cat and wants to chase her sometimes. Chloe is crate trained, and sleeps in the crate at night, but roams the house freely during the day. She is goofball and enjoys entertaining herself as well. She is 1½ yrs old and treat driven. Thank you for taking the time to read about her!

These pups are in Kenner, Louisiana too!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact info@petadoptionservices.org for more information about this pet.Armadillo is a shepherd mix that LOVES cuddles and kisses.  This girl is hella smart!  A local trainer noted Armi's attention to detail aka "ball drive," and went through quite a bit of training to be considered for TSA or K-9 work.  Turns out Armi wasn't down for on-call or 9-5 work and prefers to be a  independent contractor. She just couldn't bear the thought of anything interrupting zoomie time with her foster brother. With that said, she is still best suited for a forever home of one of 3 types.... 1.  Retired canine military personnel  2.  K-9 LEO that understands her drive 3.  An active family with a big yard, no other pets and a LOT of throw toys. Or just someone who understands. She is truly an amazing dog.  Please consider the girl.   *Long distance adoptions may be considered for the right person. Current on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. Current on flea preventative and heartworm preventative.  *Local adoptions (within 1 hour of New Orleans). We do NOT ship animals. Home check is required, therefore, we will be delivering this dog to your home. If you have read the information in the links provided above and think that this dog is a fit for your lifestyle and home, please completed a   Dog Adoption Application Our adoptions include a foster period of 4-6 weeks so that you can be sure that this pet is a good fit without any pressure, and we are available to answer any behavior or training questions during that time (and beyond, if you wish).Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2026, 5:09 pm
