My name is Vanilla Ice. I am 1 1/2 years old. I am a little energizer bunny and such a sweet boy. I like to talk to other dogs but I just want to say hello.________________________________________________If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment only after your application is approved. One of ARNO's volunteer adoption counselors will be in contact with you to notify you of your approval status as well as arrange that appointment. Please see the link above to apply.Adoption Fees:Dogs:Puppies under 1 year – $300-$350Adult dogs (1 – 7 years) – $250Seniors (8 years and older) – $200Bulldogs, Standard Poodles and Dachshunds $350Cats:Adults (1 year and older) – 1 for $125 / 2 for $200Kittens (under 1 year) – 1 for $175 / 2 for $225For all animals that have not been spayed or neutered a $100 deposit will be required in addition to the adoption fee. Callie is a sweet, energetic, playful little girl. She is great with kids and loves to ride on anything motorized. She is super smart and listens well. She needs to be the only dog in her forever home. She and her siblings were thrown into a pond where a good Samaritan jumped in to pull them to safety. She deserves to know love for the rest of her life. If pre-approved, you have first priority & can usually take home your new best friend the same day! *Please note that there is no obligation to adopt by completing an application.* **All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue.

I got Elio (Elle-e-o) when he was 8 weeks old when I was in college and I had more time for him then than I do now. He’s an amazing dog and truly will love you unconditionally. He loves to cuddle and play, he’ll be your shadow. He has a lot of energy and loves to be outside. He really likes the cold weather and will sit outside forever if you let him. He needs a home that can give him a lot of attention and that can provide him with a lot of outside time. He does get a little skittish around other dogs and people he isn’t familiar with. He’s also allergic to chicken.
