I've picked up several commands in just 30 minutes, including sit, stay, shake, and even going left and right. Buddy was found on doorstep of my grand-daughter’s friend- he stayed several days but she couldn’t keep him, she had him checked for microchip but none found. My grand-daughter begged me to take him. He is very sweet, loving, attaches easily & is very protective of his person. He is also very energetic, lives to run, play, fetch, jump, etc. doesn’t commands well, better with shock collar but still doesn’t always respond appropriately. Is good in his large kennel which can go with him, sleeps in it at night… & naps in it when he is put in ‘time out’…. Sits, shakes on command, usually but, otherwise is just a playful, large, puppy! I’m in my seventies, he’s just too much for me to handle, do sweet & loving but requires a lot of attention, can br destructive if ignored for long…. Loves to chew anything! Really needs rural area that he can run freely, chase squirrels & rabbits, etc. chases any brave birds that come inside my privacy fence….such a sweetie but cery needy!

We we walking in our neighborhood & saw this pup chasing cars & almost getting hit. She had no identification. We brought her to our vet. They scanned her but no chip. We posted her on many sites. A neighbor gave us the name & number of the owner. We spoke with the owner. The owner said she cannot care for the pet & does not want her. She said she was hoping someone would take her.We brought the pup to our vet & got her a rabies vaccine. She is a 3 year old female Blue Heeler mix. She is VERY sweet, smart, & cute. She is very gentile with our little elderly pup. She loves attention & loves running & playing in the yard. Sadly we cannot keep her She is such a sweet pup. She deserves a wonderful forever home. Please contact me if you want to be Dixies "Person".

Meet Tanner, a 2 to 3-year-old heeler mix with a heart of gold. Originally from a shelter in Texas, Tanner found himself facing hard times until Pet Savers stepped in to lend a helping hand. Now, Tanner is thriving alongside his best friend Duke, who also came from the same shelter.   Tanner is a social butterfly, adoring the company of both dogs and people alike.
