Great with other dogs. Please visit our website for more info on our adoption process and adoption application www.barkdogfarm.org                         Before applying be sure you have thoroughly researchedthe breed..  Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring dog home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. We do not have blanket criteria regarding adoptions. Each applicant is considered based on many things including but not limited to breed experience, yard ( visible fence preferred) and other animals in home. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place.  If all are in agreement  an adoption contract will be signed and adoption fee paid.  Adoption fees for dogs are $500. for adults over 12 months, $600 for puppies 12 months and younger as well as small breed dogs. Fees for seniors, special needs or harder to place dogs will be determined by our Board of Directors. All dogs will be altered when adoption is finalized. This may involve young puppies be given until a certain age to be altered. All animals are up to date on age appropriate core vaccines, negative for parasites, heart worm and lyme tested if 6 months or older, microchipped and have a current health certificate.  Proof of a basic obedience course completed is part of our adoption contract within six months. Story
Fig (approximately 44 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. He was lucky enough to spend time in a foster home, where we learned that this gentleman is a certified snuggler! His foster parents describe Fig as the perfect combination of cuddly and energetic, which makes sense as energy is definitely part of his breed! Fig learned so much while with his awesome foster family - he is now potty trained, crate trained, and he knows the "sit" command! Fig can get jumpy when he meets new people as his excitement causes him to pop up, but he has been working on the "down" command to help with this. And since he is treat motivated and highly intelligent, training Fig is fun! Our handsome boy loves walks, toys of all kinds, and of course, cuddles. He was fostered with another dog & they did very well together; in fact, his foster family says that he does best with another dog in the home. This affectionate & charming boy cannot wait to finally have a fur0ever family of his own - come meet him today! If you'd like to meet Fig and all his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed). Have questions? Call (603) 772-2921 ext. 110 or email info@nhspca.org today. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 20 Age: 1yrs 11mths 1wks

Story
Rex is a young dog who has already lived a lifetime’s worth of hardship—and somehow came out the other side with a gentle soul and an open heart. For much of his first year, Rex lived tied out in the woods with a homeless couple, missing out on everything a puppy should know: safety, structure, and the comfort of belonging. Now, at just barely one year old, he’s finally getting his chance at having a good life that does not include a tieout and living in the woods homeless.    This handsome Corgi mix weighs 25 pounds, with a compact, active build and a few healthy pounds still to gain. He sports the most expressive upright ears, short Corgi legs, a long body, and a gorgeous, fluffy tail reminiscent of a Border Collie. His coat is soft and flowing, and his energy is joyful and contagious once he feels safe. Rex is friendly with other dogs and naturally polite in his interactions. When meeting new people, he approaches gently with a submissive posture, ears back at first—then slowly lifting as his confidence grows. He’s still learning how to walk on a leash and is being introduced to basic commands and manners for the very first time and he’s proving to be a quick learner who genuinely wants to please. Because Rex missed out on early training, he will need an adopter who understands young dogs and enjoys helping one grow into his potential. With consistency and positive guidance, Rex could shine in agility, flyball, or other interactive dog sports. More than anything, he’s a dog who wants to work with his person and be part of a family.  Rex is ready to leave survival behind and step into a life filled with love, guidance, and belonging. If you’re looking for a loyal, family-oriented dog and are willing to help shape his future, Rex may be the one you’ve been waiting for.   To learn more about adopting Rex, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 9, 2026, 7:16 pm

Story
Rockstar Ms. Riley Ray didn’t get her name by accident — she earned it with heart, resilience, and a spirit that refuses to fade. This stunning 8-year-old purebred Border Collie has lived a life that didn’t quite match the energy she was born with. Adopted as a puppy by a loving older couple, Riley grew up surrounded by affection but very little structure. Long days indoors, extra bites of fast food and table scraps, and almost no exercise slowly took a toll.  Now this girl after just 3 weeks with us she is down 12 pounds and a nice 69 pounds and still on the way down.  All she needs is to walk daily for a few miles and then play fetch the ball and stay on a strict diet with no caloric treats.  Riley lives for fetch. The moment a ball appears, her eyes light up and her whole body comes alive. It’s as if she’s saying, “This is who I really am.” She is affectionate, loyal, incredibly smart, and still has so much joy and drive left to give. Riley is searching for an active home that understands Border Collies and will help her continue her health journey. She doesn’t want to sit on the sidelines anymore — she wants to run, chase, play, and finally live the life her breed was built for. Her past may have slowed her down, but it never dimmed her spark. Now she’s ready for the next chapter, one filled with movement, purpose, and a human who will see the Rock star she truly is.  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 1, 2026, 12:09 pm
