Story
Havoc’s story begins with heartbreak—but it doesn’t end there. This beautiful Border Collie mix came to a Tennessee shelter under unimaginable circumstances. She had been dumped just before giving birth to what they believe was her very first litter. Frightened, confused, and trying her best to survive, Havoc gave birth to three puppies on her own. Tragically, one of them didn’t make it. When she arrived at the shelter in Tennessee, she was severely malnourished and scared to death. She couldn’t possibly understand why she had been abandoned at her most vulnerable moment. But once she realized she was safe, the confusion in her eyes slowly gave way to trust. Now in Pennsylvania for a fresh start and a second chance at love, Havoc is blossoming into the wonderful dog we always knew she was. She’s on the shy side at first, taking a little time to feel comfortable—but once she opens up, she is incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate. She forms strong bonds and has so much love to give. Havoc is dog-social and would likely enjoy a canine companion, especially one who can help continue building her confidence. True to her Border Collie roots, she’s intelligent and observant, taking in the world around her with thoughtful curiosity. Havoc has already survived so much. Now she’s just looking for a family who will show her that she’ll never be left behind again. If you’re ready to give a deserving girl the happy ending she’s been waiting for, Havoc is ready to meet you.

Story
Meet Glitch, the border collie programmed with equal parts genius, chaos, and cuddle mode. He’s young, insanely smart, and came to us as an owner surrender — now he’s rebooting his life and looking for his forever team. Glitch learns fast, has energy to spare, and absolutely needs a job. Agility, trick training, puzzle toys… he’s open to departments. He’s also very sweet and loves to curl up after he’s exercised both his brain and legs. Glitch is good with dogs and cats, but would do best living with older children who understand his sensitive, thinky nature. He’ll benefit from continued training and structure, and in return you’ll get a hilarious, affectionate, overachieving best friend. If you’re ready for a brilliant sidekick with zoomies and a big heart, Glitch is ready to install himself into your life.be onto your lap (no user manual included).

This is Griffin! ** approved application required for meet and greet** Intake Date: 11/13/24 Intake type: Surrender DOB: 11/18/2023 Gender: Neutered Male Handsome, intelligent, loyal, Griffin checks all those boxes! Griffin is a special pup who will require a special home. He is an extremely active guy and is always on the go, playing fetch, chasing his herding ball, or enjoying a swim. Griffin needs a family who is able to give him plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to keep him happy and healthy! Griffin's ideal home is one preferably in the country with lots of private land for fun supervised adventures, and a secure fenced in yard where he could safely hang out outside as he pleases and come inside when he's ready. Griffin is extremely loyal to his people, but will require slow, supervised introductions so he can learn to trust anybody new. Once Griff knows he can trust you, he'll be your very best friend!! Griffin can be selective with other dogs, but has been able to make a couple of k-9 friends during his stay here at the shelter. Griff will require a home with with older kids 16+ who are able to understand body language and respect his boundaries. A meet and greet is required for all pups and humans in the home, and multiple meet and greets will likely be needed to see if Griffin will be a good match for you and your family! If you think your home may be a good match for our boy Griffin, please submit an application!
