⚡️🪄 Accio Forever Home! 🪄⚡️
For years, witches and wizards have waited for a letter from Hogwarts to arrive. Harry Potter has been waiting for something even better... a family of his very own. Unlike his namesake, this Harry didn't need to battle dark wizards, survive a cupboard under the stairs, or hunt down Horcruxes. His greatest challenge so far has simply been waiting for someone to notice what a wonderful little wizard he is. Harry is the canine equivalent of that student who somehow gets along with everyone. Calm, cool, and collected? Check. Happy-go-lucky and always ready for whatever adventure comes next? Also check. Whether the day involves chasing magical creatures (or squirrels), taking a stroll through the neighborhood, or simply snuggling up after a long day of wizarding, Harry is perfectly content to go with the flow. He's not looking for fame, fortune, or the Elder Wand. He just wants a person to call his own and a place where he can finally hang up his invisibility cloak and know he's home. So if you've been waiting for a sign from the universe, consider this your Hogwarts acceptance letter. Harry Potter is ready to cast his most powerful spell yet: ❤️ Expecto Adoptionum. ❤️
Harry Potter is a 13-week-old, 23-pound Border Collie mix puppy who somehow found himself sitting in a shelter wondering where on earth his people had gone. Not exactly Hogwarts, but every hero has an origin story. The original Harry started in a cupboard under the stairs. Our Harry Potter started in a shelter. And honestly, we find that crazy. Because Harry is the kind of puppy that makes life easy. He's calm, cool, collected, and generally approaches life with the attitude of, "Well, this seems fun. Let's do that."

If Hogwarts had a class called Advanced Making Friends, Harry Potter would graduate at the top of the class. When it comes to other dogs, Harry firmly believes every single one of them is a potential best friend. He's playful, social, and fully committed to the idea that life is simply more fun when everyone joins the party. Harry would probably thrive with dogs who enjoy having fun. If your resident dog identifies as a retired grumpy old professor who prefers peace, quiet, and yelling at clouds, Harry may occasionally test their patience. If your dog enjoys wrestling, playing, exploring, and having a little shadow of a brother that will adore him/her...well for forever, they'll likely become instant friends. In fact, Harry's absolute favorite companion is a 150-pound Newfoundland. While most puppies dream of being superheroes, Harry apparently dreams of being a giant fluffy bear. The two are best friends, and Harry spends much of his day following him around like an eager first-year student trying to copy the smartest kid in class. As for cats? Harry has met a few and reacted exactly like you'd expect from a curious puppy. A little interest, a little investigation, and then on to the next exciting thing. Children? Harry is convinced they were invented specifically to play with him. He's been around kids ages 4, 6, 12, and 15 and has done wonderfully with all of them. He loves having little humans to follow around, play with, and supervise. If Harry could write his own adoption requirements, there's a decent chance "must provide children for entertainment purposes" would be somewhere near the top. And new people? Harry has never met a stranger. He greets new people with enthusiasm, affection, and the unwavering confidence of someone who assumes every human he meets has been eagerly waiting all day for the privilege of rubbing his belly.
If you're looking for a puppy who operates at maximum chaos from sunrise until bedtime, keep scrolling. On the official Puppy Energy Scale, Harry lands right around a 5 out of 10. He's got plenty of puppy enthusiasm, but he isn't one of those dogs who treats every day like he's training for the Quidditch World Cup. He enjoys playtime, adventures, and having fun, but he's equally happy to relax and hang out with his people afterward. Speaking of adventures, Harry is still working on his transportation skills. As a young wizard of only 13 weeks, he still requires assistance getting into the car. When it comes to leash training, Harry is currently enrolled in Intro to Not Eating Your Leash 101. Progress is being made. As for whether Harry is an adventure dog or a couch potato...Harry is basically the canine version of a shape-shifting wizard. Want to go for a walk? Harry's ready. Want to spend six hours watching Netflix while eating snacks and avoiding responsibilities? Harry's also ready. His favorite activity is simply being wherever his people are. When playtime arrives, Harry is always ready. Toys? Absolutely. Fetch? Definitely. Water? Harry has reviewed the proposal and respectfully declined. While some dogs dream of becoming aquatic adventurers, Harry seems perfectly content keeping all four paws firmly on dry land. At the end of the day, Harry's personality can be summed up pretty simply: He's a happy-go-lucky little wizard who's just along for the ride, looking for his forever family and hoping someone chooses him as their favorite magical sidekick.
Now, before Harry starts packing his trunk and ordering school supplies, let's talk about what kind of home this young wizard is looking for. Harry would thrive best with a securely fenced yard where he can safely stretch those growing puppy legs and continue his adventures. Potty training is also still a work in progress. To be fair, Harry is only 13 weeks old. Expecting perfection at this age would be like expecting a first-year wizard to defeat Voldemort before lunch. When it comes to crate training, Harry is mostly an honor student. Like many young puppies, he feels it is important to file a formal complaint when first entering his crate. A few minutes later he remembers that his crate is actually a cozy little den, curls up, and takes a nap. Barking? He's surprisingly quiet. The rare exceptions are when he needs to go potty or when he's reminding everyone that he was placed into his crate against his wishes and would like that noted for the record. More than anything else, potential adopters should know that Harry is simply an easy-going, affectionate puppy who loves people with his whole heart. He doesn't need fame. He doesn't need a lightning bolt-shaped scar. He just wants a family to love and a spot close enough to his humans that he can keep an eye on them at all times.
Some lucky family is about to gain an incredibly loyal best friend, a professional snuggler, an adventure companion, and a puppy who will happily follow them anywhere.
The only question is whether that family is yours. Now unfortunately, despite his name, Harry cannot simply wave a wand and apparate himself into your living room. So if you'd like to be considered for this magical young wizard, you'll need to fill out an adoption application at:
https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app
Once submitted, we'll send your application to Harry's foster family for review because unlike the Triwizard Tournament, this is a best-fit process, not a fastest-fingers competition.
If chosen, you'll then need to travel to OKC, OK to pick him up in person. No Floo Powder. No Portkeys. No broomstick deliveries. No owls carrying puppies across state lines.
