Story
Meet Blues — a gentle soul wrapped in puppy fluff who approaches life with the calm confidence of someone who has already decided stress is not on his vision board. Blues approaches life the way a retired dad approaches a Saturday afternoon: slowly, thoughtfully, and with the quiet confidence of someone who knows the snacks will appear eventually. He enjoys exploring his surroundings at a very reasonable pace, pausing frequently to assess the situation, take in the vibes, and decide if further movement is truly necessary. When he does engage in play, it’s short, intentional, and efficient — a few quality minutes of fun, followed immediately by a well-earned nap because, frankly, he’s done enough for one day. Blues came to us when he was just a couple of days old, alongside his mom Harmony and his sister Rhythm, after the little family found themselves in a shelter far too early in life. Now at 6 weeks old and a whopping 8.5 pounds, Blues is a male Border Collie mix… emphasis on mix. We would love to confidently tell you exactly what other breeds contributed to his gorgeous, unique coat and his unexpectedly fantastic personality, but alas — dad has chosen a life of mystery and anonymity. He’s out there somewhere, probably bragging about his genetics and refusing to answer texts. The upside? Blues is basically a daily surprise package. His looks are changing constantly, which means adopting him comes with a built-in game of “What Breed Does He Look Like Today?” It’s fun, it’s unpredictable, and it keeps things exciting — like a puppy version of a mystery grab bag, but fluffier. One thing’s for sure though: whatever the mix, whatever the look, and whatever the phase — Blues is 100% good boy. 🐾💙 Blues is, frankly, a social gentleman. Around other dogs, he’s polite, respectful, and very much operating on a “we can be friends, but I also value my personal space and nap schedule” philosophy. He’s spent his early days hanging out with his mom and sister, so he understands basic dog etiquette, and he’s also been introduced to the resident Pomeranian — which he handled like a true professional. Cats, on the other hand, remain an unsolved chapter in his life story. He has not met one yet, does not have an opinion, and has not issued a formal statement. At this time, cats are simply theoretical creatures to him — like unicorns, taxes, or dogs who don’t enjoy naps. As for kids, Blues gives off strong “old soul trapped in a baby body” energy. He’s calm, laid back, and not the type to ricochet off walls or treat small humans like climbing equipment. With proper introductions and respectful kiddos, he’d likely do just fine in a home with children. Blues is operating at about a solid 3 out of 10 on the energy scale — which, in puppy terms, means he’s mildly curious about the world but deeply committed to rest and relaxation. He’s got just enough pep to remind you he’s alive, alert, and technically a puppy… but not so much that he’s trying to parkour off your furniture or audition for a demolition crew. Compared to his sister, he’s the slightly more adventurous sibling — the one who says, “Okay, fine, I’ll go check it out,” and then immediately needs a nap afterward. Personality-wise, Blues is easing into his playful era with all the enthusiasm of someone who enjoys fun but also values their sleep schedule. He likes to explore his surroundings in short, thoughtful bursts — a sniff here, a wander there, maybe a brief investigation of something mildly interesting — followed by a very serious nap to recover from the ordeal. Growing is exhausting, and Blues would like everyone to acknowledge that. However — and this is the important fine print written in invisible ink — Blues is only 6 weeks old. So if you’re choosing to adopt him based on the belief that his personality is permanently set in stone and will never, ever change… we would gently like to remind you that he is basically a sentient marshmallow who was born a few weeks ago. This is the developmental equivalent of assuming a newborn baby will grow up to be chill forever because they slept well one afternoon. What you’re seeing now is a foundation — not a legally binding contract. Blues will continue to learn, adapt, and surprise you as his brain finishes installing all its updates. His curiosity will expand, his play style may change, and yes, there’s a very real chance he’ll someday discover his inner goofball gremlin. Right now, Blues is sweet, mellow, and operating at a vibe best described as soft jazz. But don’t be fooled — he is a 6-week-old puppy, not a fully formed gentleman. Your job is to help him grow into the kind of dog who can accompany you places without causing a scene. The kind of dog who can attend a patio brunch, stroll through a park, or visit that one friend with the “please don’t touch anything” house… without you whisper-apologizing every 12 seconds. Potty training? That’s on you, fearless leader. Socialization? Also you. Blues needs to meet people, dogs, places, sounds, surfaces, and mildly offensive household objects — like vacuum cleaners, doorbells, and the suspicious trash bin that rolls by like it owns the neighborhood. Training? Yes. That, too. Blues is not secretly studying obedience manuals while you sleep. He is a blank notebook. In short: Blues brings the potential. You bring the structure, the consistency, and the ability to laugh when things get weird. 🐾💙 So, if you’re reading all of this and thinking, “Yes. This is my emotional support puppy. I need him immediately,” congratulations — you have excellent taste. Now for the slightly less romantic but very important part: if you’d like to adopt Blues, you’ll need to fill out an adoption application at https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app so we can send it over to his foster family. Yes, paperwork is involved. No, you cannot just “call dibs in the comments.” This is how we make sure Blues ends up with the perfect humans who understand that puppies are a lifestyle, not an accessory. Pickup will be in Skiatook, OK, and while we fully understand the urge to scoop him up immediately and never let go, he cannot leave until around the weekend of the 7th of February. He’s still a baby, still growing, and still busy perfecting his nap technique. Fill out the app, prepare your home, emotionally commit to puppyhood, and get ready — because Blues is worth the wait. 🐾💙

Story
Meet Wyatt Earp — the kind of dog who makes you feel instantly calmer just by existing in your general vicinity. Wyatt is well-tempered and easygoing in a way that feels almost unfair. Like… sir, how are you this emotionally regulated when the rest of us are one dropped phone away from spiraling? That said, he’s not a cardboard cutout of a dog. Wyatt has charm for days — just delivered softly, politely, and without demanding an audience. He enjoys being around his people, quietly keeping tabs on things, soaking up affection, and offering companionship without needing to be the center of attention 24/7. If you’re looking for a companion who won’t turn your life upside down, steal your soul, or make you apologize to your neighbors, Wyatt Earp might just be your perfect match. He’s steady, sweet, emotionally supportive, and proof that sometimes the best dogs aren’t the wild ones—they’re the ones who gently steal your heart while you’re busy relaxing next to them. Wyatt Earp is a 4-month-old, 33-lb male Border Collie/Lab mix who has never once known hardship, drama, or a bad day in his life — and it shows. Wyatt came to us when his mama arrived heavily pregnant, and from the moment he was born, life has been nothing but love, full bellies, and the strong belief that the world is a pretty great place and everyone in it is probably a friend. Wyatt has mastered the art of going with the flow. He’s not easily rattled, doesn’t overthink things, and carries himself with the calm assurance of a puppy who knows he’s loved and expects life to continue being kind to him. He’s the type who adjusts quickly, rolls with whatever the day brings, and somehow makes everything feel a little more relaxed just by being present. Wyatt Earp’s social résumé is honestly impressive for someone who is four months old and still occasionally surprised by his own feet. When it comes to other dogs, Wyatt is very much the friendly extrovert. He’s playful, social, and has already figured out the household routine like he’s been paying rent for years. Say “Let’s eat!” and he will sprint to his crate. He’s not just cute; he’s efficient. Wyatt thrives with dog friends, loves playtime, and learns quickly where he belongs in the group without being pushy or dramatic about it. Tiny humans haven’t been a regular part of his daily life either, but when Wyatt did briefly meet a younger kiddo, he was completely smitten. No biting, no wild behavior, just pure puppy admiration and gentle curiosity. He gave off strong “I love you and would like to follow you everywhere” energy, which is about as good as it gets for a growing pup. He’s sweet, respectful, and clearly the kind of dog who will grow up thinking kids are wonderful little humans who exist primarily to be adored. When it comes to people in general, Wyatt is friendly but has priorities—and those priorities are usually other dogs. He’s happy to accept some lap time, but let’s be clear: if there’s a dog nearby who wants to play, that dog is getting his full attention. Humans are great, dogs are better, and Wyatt sees no reason to pretend otherwise. He enjoys people, likes being around them, and is affectionate in his own way, but he’s not clingy or needy. He’s the kind of puppy who checks in, makes sure you’re still there, and then goes back to living his best social life. As for cats, we regret to inform you that Wyatt has no formal opinions at this time. His cat résumé is currently blank, untouched, and free of controversy. But between you and me, he would probably most certainly turn his charm to them and try his best to befriend them. And honestly...he might just succeed! Wyatt Earp’s energy level can best be described as selectively athletic. He will absolutely play when the mood strikes — romping, trotting, investigating, and generally looking like a very capable puppy — but if given even the slightest opportunity to nap, he will take it without hesitation or guilt. He believes in balance. Why burn unnecessary calories when there may be a nap scheduled later? Road trip–wise, he’d be the kind of traveler who plays for a bit, then crashes hard, completely unbothered by the journey, the destination, or your playlist choices. Adventure-wise, Wyatt has decided his true calling is the noble pursuit of The Best Stick. Trails? Coffee shops? Scenic overlooks? Maybe someday. Right now, he’s far more invested in combing the yard for the perfect stick — one that is definitely better than the last stick and must be carried proudly for approximately twelve seconds before being abandoned for a better one. He enjoys exploring, but he’s not demanding constant outings. He’s equally content doing puppy things at home, where snacks and naps are conveniently located. Temperament-wise, Wyatt is extremely well-tempered, easygoing, and just plain pleasant. He’s not anxious, not reactive, and not over-the-top. He’s confident without being pushy, playful without being wild, and gentle without being timid. He’s the kind of puppy who makes you forget you’re living with a baby animal because he’s so naturally balanced. His favorite activities include running for the ball… and then immediately stopping to socialize instead of returning it. Fetch, in his mind, is more of a group activity than a solo sport. Why bring the ball back when there are friends to greet and important conversations to have? Wyatt truly thrives with a securely fenced yard where he can explore under supervision, whether that’s with his human or while being casually overseen by the big dogs. He loves having space to roam, sniff, and conduct his very serious stick research. Potty training with Wyatt Earp is best described as a work in progress, which is puppy-speak for “he understands the assignment, but sometimes forgets the due date.” He’s trying. He’s learning. He’s a baby. Lower your expectations slightly and everyone will be happier. When it comes to his kennel, Wyatt is shockingly reasonable. No screaming, no dramatic protests, no late-night escape planning. As for barking — Wyatt does not feel the need to narrate life. He’s not announcing leaf movement, reporting on passersby, or offering commentary on imaginary threats. If silence is golden, Wyatt is solid gold. Bottom line? Wyatt Earp is extremely easygoing, refreshingly low-drama, and just… pleasant. No big quirks, no wild behaviors, no hidden “gotchas.” He’s the kind of puppy who makes you wonder how you got so lucky and why more dogs can’t be like this. So if you’re reading all of this thinking, “Wow, this puppy sounds suspiciously perfect,” congratulations — you have excellent taste. If you would like to be blessed with Wyatt’s charming face and emotionally stable personality, you’ll need to fill out an adoption application at https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app. This is not optional, no matter how much you feel like you’re meant to be together. Once that’s done, we’ll happily send your application over to his foster family for review — they know him best and will want to make sure you’re worthy of his greatness. And yes, Wyatt will need to be picked up in Tulsa, OK, because as amazing as he is, he does not come with free delivery, a private jet, or a sheriff escort. If you’re ready for a genuinely good puppy with a fantastic temperament and a whole lot of love to give, Wyatt Earp is ready to ride off into the sunset with you. 🐾🤠

Story
Meet Rhythm — a baby whose entire brand is “soft background music for your life.” 🎶 Rhythm spends her days perfecting the art of snoozing, strategically placing herself in the coziest possible location, and melting into you like she’s trying to rejoin the womb out of sheer comfort. She doesn’t demand attention — she simply exists softly and somehow convinces you to sit still longer than you planned. Her vibe is peaceful. Her energy level is “Sunday morning with nowhere to be.” Her idea of chaos is adjusting her sleeping position by three inches. She’s the kind of puppy who makes you forget puppies are usually feral. In short: Rhythm is a gentle, sweet, snuggly little soul who shows up, curls in, and makes your house feel quieter just by being there. If you’ve ever wanted a puppy who feels more like a weighted blanket with feelings — congratulations, you’ve found her. 🐾💤 Rhythm came to us alongside her mama, Harmoney, and her brother Blues when she was just a couple days old after the little family found themselves in a shelter. Now fast forward to today: Rhythm is a 6-week-old, 7-pound female Border Collie mix, and while we would love to confidently list off the rest of her breeds and sound very official and science-y… we cannot. Dad remains an unsolved mystery. A ghost. A question mark. A strong “we’ll never know” situation. What we can tell you is that he clearly contributed to those striking eyes, that wildly unique coat coloring, and a personality that feels suspiciously well-balanced for a puppy. And here’s the fun part: Rhythm’s looks are changing constantly. If you adopt her, you’ll get to enjoy the daily game of “What breed does she look like today?” — a thrilling pastime that requires zero skill, produces zero correct answers, and is guaranteed to spark group texts and unsolicited opinions from strangers. Rhythm’s social résumé is short, but honestly? It’s already impressive for someone who still qualifies as a potato. When it comes to other dogs, she’s currently living with her mom and brother and has decided this arrangement is perfectly acceptable. No drama. No protests. No “this is my emotional support toy, don’t touch it” energy. She’s comfortable, content, and very much on board with the whole family living situation. As for kids, Rhythm is still extremely young, but her vibe is gentle, sweet, and very “please hold me like a baby and whisper nice things.” With proper introductions and respectful tiny humans, she would likely do just fine — especially if raised alongside them and not treated like a chew toy with legs. Cats, on the other hand, remain a theoretical concept. Based on her gentle nature, she doesn’t give off strong “chase the cat like it owes me money” energy, but as with all things baby-related, proper introductions and supervision will be key. Right now, cats exist somewhere between folklore and bedtime stories in her world. In summary: Rhythm is polite with dogs, neutral on cats due to lack of evidence, and soft enough in temperament that she should do well with kids who understand that puppies are friends, not jungle gyms. If we’re rating Rhythm’s energy level, she clocks in at a solid 2 out of 10. This is a puppy who wakes up, stretches once, and then seriously considers whether being awake is even worth it. Her hobbies include napping, cuddling, relocating her nap spot for optimal comfort, and then immediately napping again. Personality-wise, Rhythm is calm, quiet, and deeply snuggly — the kind of puppy who makes you forget puppies are usually feral. She has a gentle, soothing presence that somehow lowers the volume in the room just by existing. She doesn’t demand attention; she politely accepts it and then melts into you like a weighted blanket with feelings. However — and this is the part where we gently clear our throats and adjust our glasses — Rhythm is only six weeks old. So if you’re planning to adopt her based solely on the assumption that she will forever remain this calm, sleepy, angelic little creature… we’d like to remind you that puppies are essentially living plot twists. Her personality will continue to evolve as she gets older, gains confidence, and discovers exciting new concepts like “running,” “having opinions,” and “I can reach that now.” Today’s peaceful loaf may eventually become tomorrow’s curious explorer who suddenly realizes legs are for more than waddling to the food bowl. Now the fine print.... Right now, Rhythm is six weeks old and under the impression that life’s primary purpose is naps, snacks, and being gently held like a very important burrito. This will not always be the case. One day, she will realize she has legs. Opinions will follow. Your job is to make sure those opinions don’t include “I scream at everything” or “I have never heard of potty training.” Potty training? That’s you. Rhythm did not arrive with a user manual or an internal GPS pointing her to the yard. She’s a baby. She will need patience, consistency, and a human who understands that accidents are part of the process. Socialization? Also you. Rhythm needs to meet kind humans, respectful dogs, new environments, weird noises, and objects that definitely did nothing wrong (looking at you, trash cans). The goal is to help her grow into a confident dog who handles the world with calm curiosity instead of panic or chaos. Training? Once again, congratulations — that’s your department. Rhythm is not studying obedience theory in her spare time. She is a blank notebook. A soft sponge. A very cute work in progress. With gentle guidance, structure, and positive reinforcement, she has all the potential to become the kind of dog who makes people say, “Wow, she’s so chill, I wish my dog was this calm" If your heart is doing that little thump thing right now, congratulations — that’s the Rhythm Effect. The next step is not manifesting, commenting “interested,” or staring at her photos like that’s legally binding. You need to fill out an adoption application at https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app so we can pass it along to her foster family, who are currently doing an excellent job of keeping her warm, loved, and impossibly cozy. Important logistics moment: Rhythm’s future family will need to pick her up in Skiatook, OK. She does not teleport. She does not come with delivery. She will be waiting there patiently, probably napping, while you make good choices and drive to meet her. Adopt Rhythm if you’re ready for soft snuggles, gentle puppy moments, and the joy of watching a tiny soul grow into something wonderful. Fill out the app. Do the thing. Come get your peaceful little loaf. She’s ready when you are. 🐾💤 One last (very important) detail before you sprint to the application like a responsible adult: Rhythm can’t leave just yet. This cozy little lady will be ready to head to her forever home around the weekend of the 7th (February) — no sooner.
