We have fattened him up, got him neutered shots wormed and now he needs a home. He is older 5-7? The perfect age to be someone s companion. Loyal, housebroken and needs a warm place to lay his head. Jake is a young (still a pup) Lab and Border Collie mix (we estimate). We found this handsome fellow alongside a rural gravel road—hungry and thirsty. We built a kennel where he could live until a lucky adoptive family comes along to make him part of their family. Jake has been through a lot but remains sweet, trusting, and affectionate.Jake is:• Sweet-natured, loving, and very smart• Has very large paws, not sure how big he will get• Energetic and eager to please• Already learned to sit on "down" and "shake" on command• Loves going on walks• Has shown no signs of aggression• Likely house trained (had no accidents overnight on first night in our shop)• NeuteredHe's a sweet boy with a loving, playful spirit. We found this beauty, Lilly, alongside a gravel road in our rural area—hungry and thirsty. She's still just a pup, and has the capacity for a strong bond with a loving family. Meet Ollie! This handsome boy is about 8 and a half years old. We believe he is an Australian Shepherd mix of some kind. He currently weighs about 40 pounds and is done growing. Ollie is a slightly older pup who is ready to be out of the shelter and in a home of his own!! He does not have very much energy. He’s a pretty calm, mellow boy who just wants to hangout and lounge around. Ollie is the type of dog that bonds deeply with one individual and becomes their little shadow! He would likely be fine to live in either an apartment or a house with a backyard. He has never lived with animals before to our knowledge. He doesn’t seem to like or dislike the other dogs at our shelter, but he certainly doesn’t pay attention to them. He would probably prefer to be the only dog or live with other older, mellow ones who don’t pay him much attention. Ollie is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $85.

Meet Tate!! This cute boy is about 3 and a half years old. We believe be is a Red Heeler mix of some kind. He currently weighs about 35 pounds and is done growing. Tate is a super sweet, loving boy who likes to give hugs!! Unlike most Heelers I’ve met, he has a very submissive, go with the flow personality!! He doesn’t seem to mind any of our dogs here at the shelter and does show interest in trying to play with some of them! We have no idea what he thinks about cats, but I imagine he wouldn’t be a threat to them. Tate would enjoy a house with a yard where he can run and get his energy out!! We know he will make an awesome companion/snuggle buddy for his future family!! Tate is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $85.
