Story
I’ll try to get some better pics of Shiva soon. Bio: Shiva is as sweet as they come. She literally melts into you for pets and cuddles and craves attention! She is very smart and learns quickly. Anything to please her people! She gets along GREAT with dogs of all sizes. She has not shown any food or toy aggression. She just wants to be included in the fun! She would do great in a home with a friend to play with. Untested with cats, but I don’t see that being an issue. She is a ball of energy, but with some training, I think she would be fine around small children as well.  ##1984095##

Story
Neo is another adorable pup brought into our program thanks to a loving foster saving him!! He is a Border Collie/Pittie mix, with quite a range of other breeds mixed in!  Neo went from from dumped on the side of the road at 8 weeks old with his brothers to stunningly handsome! Neo is the sweetest boy! If you get close enough, you are SURE to get puppy kisses and cuddles from him! Neo loves to get out and stretch his legs in the neighborhood when the weather is nice. If you need a reason to get up and get some exercise, this sweet boy may be just your guy! Neo is affectionate and sweet! He is wonderful with other dogs and kids. He knows his basic commands, is crate trained, potty trained, and knows how to use a doggy door! He does well on a leash, but is also doing great with off-leash training in his foster home! While is crate trained, he has proven himself trustworthy enough to be left out during the daytime! ##2009123##

Story
Meet Eragon! Eragon is 6 months old and about 21 pounds. We are not exactly sure what Eragon is but he is "tall and lanky" so we think he may be mixed with Labrador Retriever and Border Collie. It is hard to say for sure but Eragon may be 40 to 50 pounds when fully grown. Eragon has your typically puppy energy, playful fun and adorable! He does well in a crate and could still use help with potty training and on a leash to make walks fun and exciting. Eragon has done great with other dogs and humans both big and small. Interested in becoming a forever home for Eragon Earl? For immediate consideration, please fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we DO NOT go any further without an application. If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs, one application will be fine. We have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, and your application may be missed if you only apply once. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Eragon Earl. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Eragon Earl the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. Our normal adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Story
This sweet, happy, healthy Border Collie mix came to us from a high kill shelter at about a year old. As he has settled and matured, there is a mismatch of personality with our resident cur mix. Dunkel is super laid back and lazy and our cur enjoys big energy play. This has resulted in some squabbles (no fault of Dunkel’s) the last one resulting in a vet visit. As long as everything is calm there are no problems, but they can no longer play together and no one is living their best life. We are now seeking the right home for Dunkel, not just any home. Can your family give him a home where he can be a couch potato in peace?

Story
Apollo was found on the side of the road when he was a puppy. We think he was about a month or two months old when he was found and when we took him in. He has been with us for a little over a year now and it has become hard to financially keep up with him. He was living in a house but has been living in an apartment for the last two months. I want to give him the life he deserves but know that I cannot do that right now. He is the sweetest, silliest boy and loves everyone. He is very submissive around other dogs and just wants to play. He has a lot of energy so I usually take him on short walks 4 times a day and try to take him to the dog park once a week. He sheds a lot so I have been giving him salmon oil with his food to help. He loves peanut butter treats and bones. He shreds up toys easily so I would steer away from the stuffed toys. He likes to snuggle but is crate trained. He knows the basic commands but needs more training.
