Rueger is looking for someone who will make him the center of their world. He has so much personality and loyalty to give, and he will do best with someone committed to continuing his training and giving him structure.RUEGER DOES WELL WITH:·         Other dogs – He has been around other herding dogs and enjoys playing.·         Kids – He has been around kids from 6 years old to teens and has done well with all.·         Adults – He will alert bark but then is very friendly when people come in.  He has never shown aggression to humans.RUEGER IS UNKNOWN WITH:·         Cats – There are barn cats at his current home, but he has not been given access to them.  Given his issues with livestock, we would have concern about cats.RUEGER DOES NOT DO WELL WITH:·         Livestock – IMPORTANT – Rueger and his littermate are known to have killed three lambs, on separate occasions.  We will not place Rueger in any home with livestock.THE REST OF THE IMPORTANT DETAILSRueger is neutered, and up to date on his vaccinations.  He will be microchipped before adoption.  Rueger is currently in Prineville, Oregon.
