Story
Sonic was found on 04/25/24 at The Farm Store in Veneta. He came into the shelter already neutered. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Ricky is a 52 pound, approximately 1 year old, neutered male, Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix type dog. Ricky, Ricky, RICKY!!! Boy oh boy is this dog a SUPERSTAR! Ricky is an incredibly smart, energetic, enthusiastic, talkative, sweet, loving young boy. Ricky has all of the qualities of a herding type dog, and if you don't know what we mean by that, he might not be the right fit for you. Ricky came to us as a stray, so we don't know anything about his background but we suspect his previous owners were not prepared for how much activity (physical AND mental) Ricky needs every day to be the best he can be. Ricky still needs a lot of work on his manners, but he is very eager to please. He has earned gold stars for being an exceptionally good running partner, and we think he could do well in a home with a canine playmate. That being said, Ricky would need to meet any other dogs in the household before going home. If you love a smart, active, go getter of a dog, Ricky may be the perfect pal for you. **All adoption candidates have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated and wormed! Adoptions include a free veterinary visit, a coupon for Feed Corral on Hwy 101, and a coupon from Mini Pet Mart. If you live in Lincoln County and have dogs in the home, they must be licensed in Lincoln County (requires current rabies vaccination) and do a meet and greet here at the shelter. If you rent, you would need permission from your landlord to have a pet. Phone messages and emails will be returned in the order they are received. You may reach us at 541-265-0720 or lcanimalshelter@co.lincoln.or.us for more information.

Disclaimer: I'm currently soaking up the Texas sun, but the great news is that I can be transported to my forever home once adopted, and the transport fee is $230.My journey began when I was surrendered, along with my four precious puppies, because my family couldn't provide the care I needed. I'm a bundle of energy and an incredible jumper! My foster mom thinks I have all the potential to excel in agility training courses. While I absolutely adore the company of other dogs, I'm not a fan of being on my own, so a home with a calmer dog would be a perfect fit to help me settle. I'm a social butterfly who cherishes my human companions and still carries that puppy-like spirit in my heart. In my previous home, I was raised alongside three children, aged 8 to 16, so I'm sure to thrive in an energetic family environment. If you're looking for a furry friend who's ready to embark on adventures with you, look no further. Apply today and let's make a fantastic team!*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Gentle, sweet and a little bit shy, but absolutely gorgeous!Meet Kona, a gorgeous, furry white and brown female pup who was rescued along with her littermates after being found in the desert with their mama in La Paz, BCS, Mexico. Kona is a little bit shy, but very gentle and sweet. She loves to snuggle in your arms and give you kisses when you pick her up, and her fur is oh so soft! Kona was rescued when she was just a few weeks old, and grew up in a foster home with good vet care, food, and lots of love and attention. Her mama is a small/medium sized terrier mix around 30 lbs, and we think there is some Shar Pei in this litter from the dad's side, but Kona looks like an Aussie shepherd mixed with a little husky. She is sterilized, vaccinated and ready to find her forever family!
