Story
Douglas – The Lovable Rogue 🕷️ Douglas is one half of the infamous Spider Twins—a dynamic duo known for their roof-dwelling antics, garbage-can raids, and uncanny ability to turn ordinary days into comic-book adventures. While his wild ways sometimes get him into mischief, Douglas has a heart that shines brighter than all the trouble he stirs up. Yes, he’s a trickster. He’ll dig a hole just because it looks fun, swipe a snack when you’re not looking, and make you laugh with his unintentional slapstick routines. But underneath that chaos beats the heart of a dog who desperately wants to get it right. Douglas is eager to please, quick to learn when shown the way, and happiest when he has a job to do. He’s not looking to be the star of the show—he’s looking to be your loyal sidekick. The Robin to your Batman. The Samwise to your Frodo. He’ll cheer you on, make you laugh, and stand by your side through thick and thin. Douglas has failed to launch a few times, but that just means he’s still waiting for the right family who can handle a little chaos, celebrate his resilience, and help him spin his story into the happy ending he deserves. If you’re ready for a best friend who will keep life interesting, remind you to smile on hard days, and stick with you no matter what, Douglas is your guy. 🐾 Loyal, goofy, and endlessly entertaining. 🐾 Eager to learn and thrives with guidance. 🐾 Built for adventure—and for love. Douglas is ready to be your sidekick. Are you ready to be his hero? 🕸️💜

Story
Hello, I`m Duncan! I`m about 9 years old and weigh 51 pounds. I have a medical waiver that staff can discuss with you when you meet me.I`m eligible for Greenhill`s Foster-to-Adopt Program! Through this program, you can foster me to see if we are a good match before committing to an adoption. Canine program staff can tell you more and you can learn more about this program here: www.green-hill.org/foster-to-adopt.Do you like...Dogs? I have shown to do okay with calm dogs that can coexist with me and not cross my boundaries. Please bring all the dogs in the home to meet me!Cats? I have never been around cats. Slow, supervised introductions would set us up for success.Kids? I`m not a fan of small children. I`d like to meet older kids that can respect my boundaries! 10+Anything else you`d like us to know, Duncan? I`m an older guy that loves walks, car rides, cuddles, swimming, and relaxing at home!I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503.
