Story
Meet Willow, a beautiful white and red Border Collie mix with a friendly, spirited, and incredibly sweet personality. She’s very affectionate and loves attention, often leaning in close or sitting partway in your lap to soak up all the pets she can get. While she can be a bit nervous, Willow always shows her loving nature. She’s full of energy and absolutely loves playing fetch, especially with her favorite rope toys. Willow knows “sit” and “lay down,” has good recall, and is eager to learn, though she’s still working on her manners like jumping up and trying to herd people. She gets along well with other dogs and is playful with cats (she may chase but isn’t aggressive). Make sure you keep any garbage bins covered as this goofball has been known to turn tissues into confetti! Smart, silly, and full of love, Willow is ready for adoption and eager to find her forever home.

Story
Meet Charlie 🐾 Charlie is a 1-year-old Border Terrier mix with a whole lot of love to give and a bright future ahead of him. This handsome boy came to us through no fault of his own—his family had to move and unfortunately couldn’t find pet-friendly housing that would allow him to come along. Charlie has lived with children and has done well, making him a great candidate for a family home. He has also been around other dogs, though he does prefer to be fed separately—something his new family will just need to keep in mind. He is also good with cats, making him a well-rounded companion for many different households. At just a year old, Charlie is still young, playful, and ready to continue learning with his new family. He’s at that perfect age where his personality is shining through, but he still has lots of fun puppy energy to share. Charlie’s adoption fee is $400, and he is neutered, started on his vaccination schedule, and microchipped. If you think Charlie might be the right fit for your home, head to our website at www.mjhs.ca → Adopt → Adoptable Animals and scroll to Charlie’s photo to submit your application. Once approved, we’ll contact you to set up a meet and greet—no obligation if it’s not the right match. Can’t adopt Charlie yourself? Please share his post and help him find his forever family ❤️
