Story
Fostering this girl and trying to find her a good home. Maya was born 9/23/25 She is spayed and vaccinated, crate and house trained, loves to fetch Frisbee, and play search and find a ball, toy, or stick. GSD/BC mix. High energy! Typical working Border Collie personality, highly intelligent, very loyal, may play too rough for little kids. She needs to socialize, work, be mentally stimulated, and run, or will cause trouble. After assessment by 2 different K9 trainers, she is very Border Collie with the need to control her people and territory.

Story
Hi, I’m Tony! I’m a 1.5-year-old Border Collie/Heeler mix with a gentle soul and a heart ready for love. My brother Ezekiel and I were found at a campground—skinny, skittish, and unsure of the world. Thankfully, a kind person brought us to Pet Savers, where we’re learning that people can be pretty great! Right now, we’re working on socialization and getting in tip-top shape for adoption. I may be a little shy at first, but once I warm up, I’m as sweet as they come! I’ll need a family that understands I might need a day or two to adjust, but I promise, I’m worth it. I have a full vet check and neutering coming up soon, but in the meantime, I’m accepting applications to meet my future family! Could that be you? I just know the right home is out there for me! If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion, apply today and let’s meet! petsaversshreveport.org April 6, 2025, 11:38 am

Hey there, I’m Ezekiel! I’m a 1.5-year-old Border Collie/Heeler mix with a heart full of love and a spirit ready for adventure! My brother Toni and I were found at a campground—skinny, skittish, and unsure of the world. Luckily, a kind person brought us to Pet Savers, where we’re finally getting the care we need. Between the two of us, I’m the more confident one! While I can still be a little shy at first, I warm up to people much quicker than my brother. Once I know you’re a friend, I’ll be your loyal companion for life! I have a full vet check and neutering coming up soon, but in the meantime, I’m accepting applications to meet my future family! I just know the perfect home is out there waiting for me. If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, and loving pup, apply today—I can’t wait to meet you! petsaversshreveport.org April 6, 2025, 11:38 am

Story
Tootsie and her 10 puppies were brought to the local pound by her owners to be surrendered. When they found out how much it would cost, they were dumped . Tootsie by the highway. Puppies down the road near railroad tracks. Someone took her in for the weekend, then on a Monday she was taken to the pound. The puppies were found, (1 dead), and taken to the persons house. He gave away 2. 2 ran off, never to be seen again. So Monday 5 puppies were taken to the pound. They were reunited and within the hour of being euthanized, they were rescued with a foster. Tootsie didn't last at the foster because she doesn't like being in a kennel and broke out of all 3 she was out in. She also velcroed herself to the foster. Ultimately, she had to leave urgently and we had no choice but to put her in boarding. It's draining our funds. However, while in boarding, since she is able to roam freely, we have discovered what an absolute precious girl she is. She's quiet, non-reactive to other animals and people. She just wants to chill and be loved. She loves to go outside for walks. She will.do her business outside on those walks. She's spayed and currently undergoing heartworm treatment. We've tried desperately to find her another foster, with no luck. She can be adopted in Texas but has to wait until she heartworm negative before leaving the state. If you can fostering or adopting, please message me. P.S. Her puppies went on transport to Oregon to all be adopted by loving families. ❤️🐾❤️
