Name: Kendra Age: estimated DOB: 08/28/22 Breed(as listed on paperwork): heeler/border collie x Gender: female Weight: 45lbs Altered:yes Crate Trained:yes Housebroke:very clean in her kennel Good with kids: yes has only been around kids 7+ Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: unknown Short bio: Kendra was rescued in the new summer field area after being abandoned on a county road with her 8 babies. She was terrified of us and it took us hours to catch her. She is now one of our best behaved dogs ❤️ she has a calm demeanor, she never pulls on a leash, she’s relatively quiet. She loves one on one time but also enjoys occasionally playing with other dogs. She seems to like kids (although we’ve only seen her with kids over 7). She learns quickly and is eager to please. She likes treats which makes training very easy and she occasionally enjoys a plushy toy. She recently finished heartworm treatment and she is now ready for her forever home!
