She came to us from a farm where she had plenty of freedom to roam, and she would love to find a home where she can enjoy that same kind of independence and open space. Trudy has an independent spirit and may take a little time to learn to trust new people, but once she does, you’ll see what a wonderful and loyal companion she can be. She’s not the type to be underfoot all day, but she’ll always be there when it counts, watching over her home and family. While she’s still a bit nervous around new people, she’s formed strong bonds with our staff and volunteers—and her sweet personality shines once she feels safe. Cannoli enjoys peaceful “sniffy” walks, splashing in the pool with her dog friends, and basking in the sun on calm days. She’s looking for a quiet, patient home where she can continue to grow in confidence and be reminded every day just how special she truly is.
