She’s affectionate, calm, and perfectly content being your quiet companion for movie nights and slow Sunday mornings.Since raising her puppies, River has become a bit shy with new visitors. She just needs a moment to take it all in. Once she feels safe, her tender heart shines through. She’s housebroken, quiet, and wonderfully gentle in the home.River gets along beautifully with other dogs, does well with respectful children, and is fine with cats too. She’s truly a harmony-loving girl. Car rides are not her favorite adventure, so she’d much rather stay home and snuggle than hit the highway.If you’re looking for a peaceful, loving companion for a quieter home, River may be your perfect match. She’s ready to trade motherhood for a lifetime of comfort, safety, and soft ear scratches.All cats and dogs adopted from the Chequamegon Humane Association are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Dogs are tested for heartworm. A minimum adoption fee of $185 is required for adult dogs, puppy adoption fees start $300, and dogs over the age of 10 are $100. Adult cat adoption fees are $85, kittens under one year are $135, and cats over the age of 10 are $50.
