Bonnie Needs a Foster or Adopter to Secure Her Ride to Wisconsin on 5/29
Bonnie is currently waiting in a high-intake Georgia shelter and needs a committed foster or adopter to reserve her spot on transport to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue. A committed home is needed for Bonnie to make the trip north and start her next chapter.
Meet Bonnie
Bonnie and her two siblings were found as frightened strays in rural Georgia. They were so fearful and shut down that rescuers had to safely trap them before they could be brought into the shelter.
Life has likely not been easy for Bonnie, but despite her rough start, she has been making steady progress since arriving at the shelter. As she has had more time to decompress, Bonnie has started showing her softer side and is becoming more comfortable around people.
She is still building confidence and learning that the world can be a safe place. Bonnie will likely need a patient home willing to continue helping her adjust and work through normal puppy basics like potty training, crate training, and leash walking. Since her background is unknown, it’s safe to assume much of home life may be brand new to her.
Bonnie is dog friendly and would likely benefit from a calm, structured environment where she can continue to gain confidence at her own pace. She has not yet been tested with cats or children.
She may need a little extra patience and TLC in the beginning, but Bonnie is a sweet girl who is absolutely worth the investment.
