Story
Hello Beautiful Day! My name is POO and here is a little info about me: Breed: Border Terrier x Corgi mix Age: 2 yrsGender: maleWeight: 10kgCountry of origin: TurkeyHighlight(s): calm, easy-going, intelligent, friendly, affectionate, gets along with cats and dogs Poo is the kind of dog who doesn't need to be the centre of attention to make himself special. He's calm, friendly and affectionate, with an easygoing nature that makes him lovely company. He enjoys being around people without constantly asking for something from them. He's happy to relax at home, spend time with his people and simply be part of everyday life. But there's another side to Poo. Give him some space to play and you'll discover that this calm little gentleman has a playful streak — including some very respectable zoomies when the mood strikes. One of Poo's sweetest qualities is how attentive he is to his person. When he's out walking, he regularly checks in and keeps his eyes on the person at the other end of the leash. He seems to like knowing where his person is and what they're doing. Poo gets along well with other dogs and is also good with cats. In fact, cats generally don't seem to interest him very much. He's fully house-trained, has shown no separation anxiety and walks perfectly on a leash. Poo would suit someone looking for a balanced companion — a dog who can enjoy a walk, have a little fun, and then come home and settle down beside you. He's affectionate without being demanding, playful without being overwhelming, and quietly devoted without needing to make a big production of it. Sometimes the dogs who quietly stay by your side end up becoming the ones you can't imagine your life without.   Energy Level: low-moderateI get along with:Dogs: yesCats: yesKids: unknown Fears: none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.Training:Leash skills: Walks great on leash.House trained: Yes. Please help me learn where to go in my new home. Health notes:I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $850.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.[TURKEY] Dogs from Turkey receive a 4D SNAP test to include Heartworm, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmania and Anaplasmosis. ##2843894##

Story
Meet Coco Bear! He's a 2-year-old, approximately 18-pound terrier mix and an absolute love bug.  He's great with other dogs and does okay with cats, although he will chase them if they run. He'd do best with older children, as it takes him a little bit of time to warm up to new people. Once Coco Bear trusts you, you have yourself a best friend! He has an endless supply of kisses and just wants to be with his people. He's great in his crate, house trained, and ready to experience more of the world. A few walks, some new adventures, and lots of couch cuddles sound like the perfect life to him. If you think Coco Bear could be your match, apply today! 🐶❤️

Meet Spud — 8 weeks old, short stacked, smushy-faced and serving up a whole lot of sass. 😂 Spud is Laila's only pup, and he seems to have inherited ALL her best genes… plus some funky terrier genes that he has taken on in full force. He's wiry, ridiculously cute, and did we mention SHOORRRRT?! He's the perfect mix of playful and cuddly and absolutely loves every person he meets. He's also doing amazing in his crate already! As an only puppy, Spud will need an adopter who is committed to continuing his socialization and puppy training. He missed out on growing up with a full litter, so his new family will need to help him learn those important puppy lessons as he grows. But all that aside… this little guy is pretty darn perfect.

Story
🐾 Meet Ella Ann (Ellie)! 💕 Ellie is a sweet, gentle 3-year-old, 12 lb terrier mix who's looking for a patient family to help her blossom. 🌸 While she's still building confidence, having a friendly, confident dog in the home would help show her that the world isn't so scary. 🐶 Quick movements can make her nervous, so she'd do best in a home with teens or adults. She's learning that leashes and harnesses are okay (patience is key!), and once she's walking with her foster dog sibling, she settles in nicely. 🚶‍♀️🐕 At home, her crate is her safe space, she's housetrained with a routine, and she loves relaxing in a shady spot with a yak chew. 🌳🦴 When you're sitting quietly, she'll happily curl up on your lap or beside you. With time and love, Ellie is sure to grow into a wonderful medium-energy companion who's ready for hikes, adventures, and a lifetime of loyalty. 🥾🏕️ Could you be the one to help this shy little girl discover just how wonderful life can be? ✨
