Story
Meet Maddie! 🐾 Maddie is a three-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix who may be tiny at just 9 pounds and 10 inches tall, but she has a big personality! Maddie is a medium to low-energy girl who is happiest spending her day lounging in the sun, napping, and keeping an eye on everything around her. She loves finding high places to perch so she can observe the world, and she's always ready for a good tummy rub. She has done wonderfully with her house training since arriving in rescue and sleeps quietly in her crate at night. She is also comfortable in her crate when home alone, but if she knows you're in the house without her, her fear of missing out kicks in and she'll let you know she'd rather be with you! Maddie enjoys car rides and loves being close to her people. If you're eating, don't be surprised if she's just a couple of inches from your face, hoping you'll share a bite. She's also an impressive treat catcher, with what seems to be a 100% success rate! Maddie is selective about her dog friends. While she is currently being fostered with other dogs, she can have conflicts and may guard a favorite toy. Because of this, she would thrive as the only dog in her forever home, where she can soak up all the attention. Cats and children are unknown, although she has been gentle with every person she's met. She currently lives with a caged bird and is curious but respectful. Maddie is still learning her leash manners. She pulls, zigzags, and can be leash reactive when she sees other dogs, so she'll need a patient adopter who is committed to helping her build confidence and work through her reactivity with positive, consistent training. If you're looking for a tiny companion with a huge personality, a love for sunbathing, and plenty of entertaining quirks, Maddie might just be the perfect match. Think Maddie could be your new best friend? Apply today!

Story
🐾 Meet Georgie! 🐾 This adorable 1.5-year-old, 27 lb scruffy guy is full of love and personality! ❤️ a mixed breed of low rider terrier type; representing a Border Terrier. Georgie gets along well with other dogs, loves cuddles, follows his people everywhere, sleeps happily at your feet, and has the cutest bunny-like hops. 🐇 One of his funniest habits? "Lick-bys"—he'll sneak a quick kiss on your foot as you walk past! 😘🐾 Georgie only needs a couple of short walks each day and walks nicely on leash without pulling. He's working on heeling and learning that excitement doesn't have to involve jumping or being mouthy. Because he's still a little nervous and can get overexcited, he'd do best with older kids or an adult-only home. He's crate trained for bedtime and when left home alone, settling quickly after a little whining. House training is progressing well but he'll need regular potty breaks until he learns to tell you when he needs to go outside. Cat compatibility is unknown. Oh—and if you own a vacuum... don't expect Georgie to be impressed. 😂 If you're looking for a loyal little sidekick who will keep you smiling every day, Georgie is ready to meet you! ❤️🐾
