Little Millie is a 4 mo old female whose Mom is a Schnauzer Border Terrier mix. Momma was tied to a pole in the Desert at a school Bus Stop and seven puppies running loose...Big Coyote Country. Thank goodness a Lady took them home. We have placed Mom and Four puppies and still have Rosie, Millie and Rihanna left. They have soft wiry coats, black with white markings like mom. Mom weighs 28 lbs and has a great temperament and the puppies are fat happy and playful...little darling girls who love toys and learn quickly, gentle and loving. They have been given first shots and microchipped. Our adoption fee is $225 and you can email for our application at Alphadogpetrescue@yahoo.com. They are located near Hesperia Calif.

Shakespeare entered the San Diego Humane Society as a stray, and sadly, he wasn't claimed. On August 18th, we welcomed him as a Frosted Face. Estimated to be 10 years old, Shakespeare weighs 25 pounds and is very friendly and affectionate. Shakespeare has been on two solo outings with volunteers and has earned rave reviews from both for being a well-mannered, cuddly, and fun companion. Here's what we've learned: * Shakespeare enjoys car rides and immediately curls up in the backseat and settles in for the trip. * He is very friendly when meeting new people and happily accepts every bit of attention. * Shakespeare politely lays at his humans' feet while they drink and eat at a restaurant. No begging or barking. Good boy! * He is very affectionate! In addition to petting, he enjoys belly rubs, and if you're at his level, he curls up in your lap. * Shakespeare is easy to handle and fine with being picked up. * He likes treats, stuffies, and chewing toys! Similarly, when Shakespeare went on an overnight Frosted Field Trip, his foster family had only positive things to report: "Shakespeare is very smart and intuitive boy who loves to cuddle. We went on hour-long park walks both days that Shakespeare was with us, and he met several other leashed dogs at the park. He reacted well to each one and did not bark. While in the house, Shakespeare was happy to cuddle every free moment and accept attention from anyone who would give it. He also enjoys taking naps". Looking for a loving, fun, and polite bestie? Little Larry looks mostly like a Norfolk Terrier or Border Terrier. Whatever Larry is, he’s an adorable, scruffy, and very sweet little fellow. Larry weighs just under 20 pounds full grown. Larry’s great with other dogs – both big ones and small ones and young ones and old ones. He’s completely crate trained, doesn’t wander off or dig in the garden, and really loves people. He’s content to just hang around you all day and is a quiet, mellow little fellow. This little cutie pie would make a great buddy for someone looking for a tolerant, sweet, adorable, and funny best friend. Of course, Larry is neutered and up to date on all his shots, and we have his vet records to pass on to his new forever family. I am a firm believer is having potential adopters take a pup home for a “sleepover” to see how your family, your other pets, and your new best buddy all get along. You can always take sweet Larry home for several days to see how he adapts, and we always take our rascals back if they aren’t a good fit.
