Thankfully, kind people brought me to safety, and now I’m ready to find a forever home where I’ll never have to wonder where I belong again. I was born around 5/6/2025 and weigh about 20 pounds — just the perfect size to tag along wherever you go. I absolutely adore people and always want to be close to my humans. If you’re sitting down, there’s a good chance I’ll want to sit nearby too. I’m a very loving girl with a gentle personality. I can be a little jumpy at times, so older kids would probably be best for me. I also seem to be pretty quiet overall and don’t spend my time barking in my kennel. I’m mostly potty trained, though like any dog, I may need a little patience and consistency while adjusting to a new home and routine. One important thing to know about me: I am a fence climber, so I will need a secure, properly fenced backyard to keep me safe. I’m curious and adventurous. I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, 4DX negative, and current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto — all ready for my next chapter. Adoption fee: $400 Apply at: www.adoggie4you.org Alexis is currently in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and locations along the East Coast for an additional $225 transport fee. He came to rescue after being found roaming the streets, but despite his rough start, he's a happy, friendly boy who loves making new friends. Alton has a submissive personality and gets along well with other dogs. He enjoys playtime, attention, and being part of the action without being overly demanding. He's still working on his potty training and will need a patient adopter willing to help him continue learning. We are unsure how Alton does with cats or children at this time. Alton is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, 4DX negative, and current on Bravecto and ProHeart 12. His adoption fee is $400. Born around March 11, 2025, this little guy weighs just 11.5 pounds—but he’s packed full of sweetness and love. Muffin is a total love bug who just wants to be close to his people. Muffin came from a hoarding situation where he was living with 29 other dogs. Because of that, he’s still learning about the big world and what it means to be a cherished companion. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but the moment you offer him a little kindness and attention, he warms up quickly and happily soaks up the love. He’s still working on his leash skills and hasn’t quite mastered walking on one yet—right now he much prefers being carried like the little prince he is! With patience and gentle encouragement, Muffin will continue to gain confidence and learn new things every day. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Mitchell! Mitchell is a quiet Norfolk Terrier mix with a beautiful red coat and the personality of a pixie warrior. Born around March 10, 2025, this charming boy weighs only 10.0 pounds, making him a great small sized companion for a loving home. Mitchell came from a hoarding situation where he was one of 29 dogs, so life hasn’t always been easy for him. Because of that, he may take a few minutes to warm up to new people. But once you approach him gently and offer slow, reassuring pets, you’ll see his guard melt away—and that’s when his affectionate side shines through. Sadly, Mitchell did not receive heartworm prevention earlier in life and tested heartworm positive. The good news is that he has already been treated and is doing well! He just needs to take medication for 30 more days to complete his recovery and get back to feeling his best. Mitchell gets along wonderfully with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. He is very smart and eager to connect with people, especially once he feels safe. With a patient and loving family willing to give him time to adjust, he will grow into a loyal and devoted companion. He’s still learning some basics, including walking on a leash, but with consistency and kindness he will quickly improve.
