Copper is a Border Terrier Mix (?) who is 2-3 years old. (weighs 30 lbs.) He has many Border Terrier traits, is smart, energetic, and highly trainable.We’ve invested in training (daycare and one-on-one sessions in our home), and he behaves well when given proper instruction. However, he has a very strong prey drive and is not a good fit for our household because he wants to chase our cats and chickens.Copper is a good dog at heart, he’s loyal, intelligent, and responds beautifully to structure and skilled handling. We believe he would thrive in a single-dog home or with another mellow dog. An owner who can provide plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and clear boundaries.A prospective home should not have cats or other small animals unless you’re willing to keep them apart. Copper has been around school aged children and is very pleasant with them.
