Meet Snorky! At just 2 years old and 15 lbs, Snorky is the perfect mix of playful, energetic, and affectionate! This fun-loving boy is always ready for an adventure, whether that means zooming around the yard, playing with his favorite toys, or making new friends wherever he goes.🧸With proper introduction, Snorky gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and even toddlers, making him a great fit for many different types of homes. He’s social, loving, and happiest when he’s part of the action.🐾He’s currently working hard on his manners and learning commands like sit, stay, and shake. He’s making great progress and will thrive with a family willing to continue his training and help him build confidence along the way.Snorky is also crate trained and does well in his crate! Like many playful pups, he absolutely loves toys… and sometimes if something is left on the floor, he may decide it looks like a toy too. Keeping personal items picked up will help set him up for success. 😉If you’re looking for a small, active companion with a huge personality and even bigger heart, Snorky may just be your perfect match! 🐶✨📍Based in Bryan, Texas. Story
Meet Ivette Female DOB: May 25, 2025 Weight: 13 pounds Breed: Border Terrier Mix Spayed (Fixed) Vaccinated Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Personality, Breed Info & Expectations Ivette is a happy, friendly little girl with a loving personality and playful spirit. She enjoys being around people, loves companionship, and has the kind of cheerful energy that makes her easy to adore. Ivette is social, affectionate, and enjoys being included in everyday life with her humans. At around 1 year old, she has beautifully grown beyond the tiny puppy stage while still keeping youthful energy, curiosity, and playful charm. She enjoys interaction, attention, and spending time with her people. As a Border Terrier mix, Ivette may show traits such as: Intelligence and curiosity A friendly, social personality Playful but affectionate energy Strong bonds with her family Alertness and engagement Border Terrier mixes are often known for being loving, adaptable companions who thrive with interaction, structure, and companionship. Ivette would thrive in a home that can provide: Daily walks and activity Continued training and socialization Structure and consistency Mental stimulation and engagement Inclusion as part of the family She would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loving, friendly, and engaging young dog. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue dogs come from very different backgrounds. Some may have previously lived in homes, while others may have come from the streets, overcrowded shelters, neglect situations, or environments where they had little structure or guidance. Because of this, most rescue dogs arrive with only basic training at best, and some may have had no formal training at all. Young dogs especially still require continued guidance, structure, patience, and supervision as they continue maturing. The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, structure, socialization, and basic guidance, adopters should expect to continue training and support after adoption. Ivette will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Structure and consistency Continued socialization and exposure Daily exercise and engagement Mental stimulation and enrichment Patience during adjustment periods Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience, stability, and commitment, rescue dogs often blossom into deeply loyal lifelong companions. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes daily exercise, companionship, routine veterinary care, training, mental stimulation, and financial responsibility. Ivette will need: Daily walks and interaction Continued training and guidance Routine veterinary care and wellness exams Preventative care including flea, tick, and heartworm prevention Proper nutrition and exercise A safe, stable, indoor living environment Because Ivette is still a young dog, consistency and structure are especially important in helping her mature into a confident and well-balanced adult dog. Ivette is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside. Story
MY ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN PAID BY A GENEROUS DONOR, so the adoption fee is waived for you!Meet 💛PUMPKIN & LATTE💛. Oh, these sweet babies have been THRU IT. They are part of 21 chi mixes that came to the shelter from really sad circumstances. The local fire department responded to a fire at a residence, only to go in the home and find 21 dogs "cruelly confined". It was a race against the clock to get them all out alive, and thank goodness they did. Animal control seized the dogs, bathed them, and cared for them, then the owner surrendered them. Many required oxygen to survive, and they were all covered in a thick layer of soot. These poor scared babies were locked in crates in the home, filled thick with feces. They all have a degree of flea dermititis and scabs, but thankfully they are all heartworm negative! While most of the dogs were ages 4mos to 2 years, we focused our efforts on the 2 seniors. Latte has fully healed, and is happy, healthy, and ready for a forever home. He is medium energy and loves to play with other dogs. He would LOVE a family that can take him on regular walks and keep up with his silly personality. We are so grateful for the first responders and animal control officers who saved these babies and got them cleaned up!!Nationwide transport available, thanks to our Flight Transport partners with SWATT Transport and that flies in cabin with Southwest AirlinesDog adoptions are $250, and if you need nationwide transport, it's an extra $250 for the flight and all materials needed.
