Story
Rogue is a highly intelligent, very energetic dog. She is a cuddle bug, but also can go go go. We adopted her as a puppy and had hopes of her and our older dog bonding and more energy coming into our home. However, our older dog is stubborn, and does not like to be bothered. And rogue just wants to play. She loves to chase the ball, run, hike, and do all the things. However- we work night shifts and Rogue does not get as much exercise and outdoor time as she deserves.

Story
Todd is honestly a wonderful dog. We got him from a farm in De Beque. He does not bark much, only as a warning to us when someone is at the door, or he hears something suspicious. He loves to hike, run alongside me mountain biking, is desperate for walks every day and is very loving. Todd is 6 years old. He needs a home that is very outgoing and active, preferably without young children. The reason we have chosen to rehome him is we simply cannot keep up with his need for activity anymore. If you're looking for a hiking, running or mountain bike buddy, he might be the perfect dog for you!

Story
Hi I'm Austin! I'm bonded with my brother, Shelby. We landed at the county shelter when one of our humans passed away and the family was unable to care for us. Luckily, GRHS quickly swooped in and now we are crashing on a temp foster's couch. (We are still looking for a foster home!) We are the best houseguests and perfect gentlemen! We LOVE our crates and were crate trained in our previous home. We also LOVE to play outside (Fetch is LIFE!) and are learning how to use a dog door. We love cuddling with our humans, playing fetch, and cuddling some more. We get along great with the other friendly dogs in our foster home and don't seem to mind the kitty who roams around when we are sleeping. We have GREAT recall, are incredibly well trained, and our manners will blow you away! Although we are middle-aged (8yo) and slightly frosted, we would love to have an active family! Someone who likes to take us on daily walks or even occasional hikes would be wonderful! As Border Collies, we tend to be quite active until our super senior years. Staying active will keep us young! We haven't had too much experience being in a car, so we tend to get a little nervous (We just shake a little), but we can definitely warm up to being adventure dogs if we are exposed to it more often! In the home, we are pretty mellow and like to lounge - especially after we've had our daily walk! At this time, these bonded boys will not be attending adoption events as they have been a little nervous in busy situations. Please submit an adoption application and we will be sure to have their foster family reach out to schedule a meet and greet! We do not see Adopt-a-Pet inquiries! Please visit our website www.grandrivershumane.org to fill out an adoption application and learn more about our upcoming adoption event locations.
