Story
DOB: 10/16/2021He needs a home that is very active and can give him a job. He is very high energy and I don’t have the time he needs. He loves ball and would do amazing in agility. Would probably be better if he was in a single dog household, got in a fight with another one of our dogs. Unsure how he would be with cats. The required vaccines are up to date (rabies and DHPP). He has been on heartworm preventative.

Story
Meet Roxy! Roxy is a beautiful, athletic, mixed-breed girl with a heart full of love and a coat that is essentially non-shedding. She thrives on human affection and absolutely melts when you gently rub her face, ears, and neck. If youre looking for a dog who loves to connect with her people, Roxy is ready to be your devoted companion. Roxy would do best with an active family who can provide regular physical exercise along with mental enrichment and training. She enjoys being engaged and has the energy and athleticism to join you on walks, hikes, adventures, and playtime. She also enjoys sturdy chew toys, which help keep her occupied and provide a healthy outlet for her energy. She knows the commands sit, come, and down, and responds especially well when treats are involved. Roxy is crate-trained and settles nicely in her crate after she has had a chance to burn off some energy. Roxy has done well around other dogs during walks and has demonstrated excellent play skills with a neighborhood German Shepherd. She enjoys appropriate play wrestling and has shown that she can interact positively with canine friends. Like many young, enthusiastic dogs, Roxy is still working on her manners. She has made significant progress with jumping up on people and mouthing during play, but she will need a family committed to continuing her training and helping her build consistency. With structure, patience, and positive reinforcement, she continues to improve every day. Roxy is incredibly easy to love. She combines beauty, affection, intelligence, and enthusiasm into one wonderful package. She is looking for a family who will appreciate her loving nature, continue guiding her training, and give her the active life she enjoys. In return, shell reward you with endless affection and loyal companionship. We do not see Adopt-a-Pet inquiries! Story
With heavy consideration we need to rehome Scout. We do not make this decision lightly and we have poured a lot of time and training into her. However she is a danger to our almost 2 year old son. Scout is a 8yr old heeler. She has lots of training (40 different commands), does great out in public, loves to snuggle, can run around all day with you or be a couch potato. However she doesn't like young kids, and is wary of strangers but once she gets to know you she will never forget you. She would be perfect out on a peice of land, living the van life, or just at an active home. If you know of anyone who would love to take home this sweet girl please reach out.

Story
HI HELLO YES I AM ALIVE AND IT IS AMAZING.I’m a cattle dog mix, which means I am very smart, very enthusiastic, and sometimes so excited about existing that I forget what you just asked me to do. Sit? I know it. Down? Also know it. Remembering to do it when there are leaves or sounds or life happening? We’re working on that. The good news: I want to be a Very Good Boy. I just need someone who understands that my brain moves fast, my body moves faster, and I come with unlimited enthusiasm!I am not a casual, “a couple walks a day” kind of dog. I need real exercise, training, and mental work daily. If I don’t get that, I will absolutely create my own activities, and you may find them… less charming than I do.The payoff? With patience, structure, and yes, a generous amount of treats, I will turn into an incredibly fun, loyal, and impressive partner!

Good with kids,
Story
Hope is an affectionate Australian cattle dog /German shorthaired pointer mix. She has been recovering from a concussion she received from a vehicle accident. Hope has recently upped her game when it comes to exercise and has been enjoying longer walks with her foster as well as occasionally fast running (with a few days of recovery to follow, but who can blame her). Her optimal life would include continued training, and playing food and toy games for enrichment, and living indoors with her favorite person or family. She is potty trained and crate trained. She may prefer to be the only dog due to her loyalty to people, but has been socializing nicely with other dogs in a daycare/boarding facility! She will need calm guidance in new environments. She is lower energy and quiet in the morning, but will need small sessions of activity and engagement throughout the day due to her "working-breed" temperament. She would be a great fit for someone who would continue to help her learn new things and enrich her life through new experiences. She always wants to be by your side and will need a trusted loving leader for companionship and guidance. We do not see Adopt-a-Pet inquiries!
