Story
Wiley is a 2-year AKC registered dark gray and white border collie. He is 30 lbs at about 17 inches tall, he is on the smaller side for a border collie. Wiley is very social and loves doggie daycare and people. He would benefit in a home with a big yard or land to have freedom. He is very obedient and has good recall and knows all commands. He loves swimming, playing Frisbie and chasing his soccer ball. Very good in house no anxiety when left. Crate trained. Wiley would do well in a home with other dogs or older kids to play with, or an active person that enjoys the outdoors. He is e-collar trained.Wiley has leash reactivity when he sees other dogs, I'm 70 years old and with back problems and I'm not able to work with him on this behavior. He has worked with a trainer with improvements on leash reactivity; however, I cannot continue to give him more lessons due to limited finances in retirement. If you have the ability to work with him on leash reactivity, he really is a perfect dog!

Story
We came by Ace at a pound here in grand junction in 2016, was about 1 or 2 years old at the time and was already well trained well behaved. He’s a wonderful dog, still has lots of life left. But like his previous owner we have to relocate out of state and due to our time away from home for careers, we just feel like a home with a couple kids (he loves kids)Would be so much better for him.He has some yeast issues with his ears and skin, we’ve fought valiantly including a surgery to remove a lump a few years ago, We really love this dog, truly is part of our family and if he goes to a good home, it’ll be for free, and we’ll make sure to include a couple bags of food that he likes, and he has to have a Kong ball/cone. Quiet unless someone is at a door or if he senses something, shakes paws loves baths, just needs more attention than what we can give him now.Unfortunately we couldn’t find a home..please refer to roice-hurst shelter in grand junction if interested

Story
We brought koda home 2 years ago around Christmas after wanting a dog for sometime and koda fit right in. He learned quick and was a big boy before we knew it. Koda is very playful and has lots of energy and is really meant to be an outside dog! We have done our best to exercise and keep him active. We just recently moved into a home in grand junction to where koda has no room and it is not fair to him. Koda is very protective of kids and his property and would be ideal for someone who has a ranch or land for him to roam. We have a two year old and this past week confined in this little space koda trying to run caused him to knock the baby over and the environment now is not good for koda or the baby. We are hoping someone on here who needs a good protective and active dog will be able to give koda the home he deserves. He is house and kennel trained and does not mind going to a kennel when asked to do so. He really is a amazing dog that we hate to let go but we know it’s best for him

Story
Molly is a sweet, gentle dog who just turned two years old. She has a very calm temperament and adapts quickly to new environments. She loves children and enjoys playing with other dogs. We are looking for a loving new home for Molly because we will be moving out of the country and, unfortunately, we have no way to take her with us. Our greatest hope is that she finds a family who will love and care for her as much as we do. Molly has been diagnosed with primary epilepsy and is currently doing well on treatment. We will be happy to share more information about her medication and care routine with her future family. Thank you for your interest in Molly. We truly believe you’ll fall in love with her and won’t regret giving her a forever home.

Not good with cats,
Story
Hi! I'm Woody... though if you accidentally call me Woodrow, I'll probably answer to that too. I'm a goofy, silly guy with a personality that's just as big as my toy collection. Speaking of toys... they're mine. All mine. I like to gather them into one impressive pile like a tiny dragon protecting his treasure hoard, and convincing me to part with one can be quite the negotiation. But... Treats and the bribe of a walk are pretty good opions. I'm a little more on the independent side when it comes to affection. I like being near my peopleI just don't necessarily need to be glued to you every second of the day. Think of me as the roommate who's happy to hang out in the same room while we each do our own thing. I'd do best with kids over 10 and no small critters in the home. They're just so interesting. If you're looking for a funny, quirky companion with just the right amount of stubbornness, I might be your guy. We do not see Adopt-a-Pet inquiries!
