Story
Please read the entire description before applying Lola is a 4½monthold, 15lb Goldendoodle puppy who came to us after being found as a stray and taken to the shelter. Despite her rough start, Lola shines with classic retriever charm — spirited, social, and full of happy energy. She loves people, seeks out affection, and greets everyone like a friend she hasn’t met yet. She’s a bright, friendly girl who adapts quickly, enjoys being included in daily life, and has that joyful, bouncy personality doodles are known for. Lola gets along well with other dogs and thrives in a home where she can be part of the action. Lola is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and will be spayed on September 1st. She will be ready to leave for adoption the weekend of September 5th. A **$50 deposit is required to hold her** once your application is approved. This deposit is applied toward the adoption fee. Adoption Fee: $550 Adoption Requirements A fenced-in backyard is required (no invisible fences). If your condo/HOA does not allow a fence, alternative options may be considered case by case. Someone must be home more during the day to devote time to a puppy. Children in the household must be 7 years or older. Families with no dogs or one dog will be considered (no multiple-dog households). You agree to use a puppy pen, not a crate. Approved applicants will receive information on pens we will approve Applicants must live in Indiana or neighboring states. We do not transport or ship puppies. Application Process Submit your application online. If you seem like a good fit, you’ll be contacted within 72 hours. Applications are not approved on a first-come, first-served basis. We carefully review each one to find the best fit for our puppies. A $ 50 deposit will hold the puppy of your choice.  Our adoption process does not include a separate meet and greet. We will not schedule meetandgreet appointments prior to adoption. Once an applicant is fully approved and the deposit is placed, we mark the puppy as pending, you order the required supplies, and then the adoption and introduction happen in one appointment. You take your puppy home the same day. If you meet the puppy and decide not to adopt, the $50 deposit is refunded.   ##2827339##

Story
Please read this entire description before applying. Chester is an 11monthold 30-35lb Whoodle (Wheaten Terrier/Poodle mix) who came into rescue with his brother, Corkie. Corkie has since been adopted. Both boys had very limited early social experience and were surrendered by their breeder. Chester has become relaxed and comfortable in his foster home, it took time for him to adjust. He is still fearful when meeting new people and needs slow, gentle introductions. Chester learns best by watching another dog and following their lead. He will need a friendly, gentle resident dog to help him feel secure and continue building confidence. A home with no children or older teens, low activity, and a quiet environment is ideal for him. He is a sweet, observant dog who is making steady progress. Chester is ready for an adopter who understands shy dogs and can offer consistency, patience, and a peaceful home where he can settle in at his own pace.  Chester is currently rejecting leash training and is not yet ready for walks. A secure, fully fenced yard is required. He is a flight risk when scared, so doors, gates, and transitions must be handled carefully. He cannot be crated due to his history of being kept in a crate at the breeder, which contributes to his anxiety. When unattended, he should be kept in a safe room with a pet gate instead. Potential adopters should live within a 1.5-hour drive of Northwest Indiana. Chester is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS• Fully fenced backyard (no invisible fences).• Primary caregiver home more often.• Children 13+.• Calm, patient household.• Preferred:  a friendly resident dog to help with confidence building and continued progress.• No crates — use a petgated room when he is unattended.• Experience with shy or unsocialized dogs is a plus. Please put in an application on our website. After your application is approved, we can arrange a meet and greet. www.indianasaveadog.com  Adoption Donation: $350 ##2698695##
