Story
Aslan (named after the Lion in the Chronicles of Narnia series) is a good boy. It pains us to have to release him, but recovery after second baby and multiple jobs to make ends meet has proven we are not able to give him the life he deserves. He was born to a local breeder, and we got him just 8 weeks old. He quickly learned to romp and play, and caught on to potty training quick. He had some resource guarding tendencies very young, so we got him professional training and he quickly adapted and responded very well. He does decent with recall, sitting, walking on command, and place command. He rides in the car great, though his preferred spot is shotgun. He is unphased by storms and fireworks. He is crate trained (sleeps in a crate and stays in crate when left alone). And he has been so gentle and patient with tiny hands and uncoordinated toddlers pulling, tripping and driving little cars over him. Is very protective of family, so despises other dogs. Not a fan of strangers at first.

Story
Rocko is a 6 month old mini sheepadoodle. He is a smart, sweet and sensitive dog. He has been in our home since he was two months old with his litter mate. Rocko needs a calm and controlled environment with a loving and gentle owner. He is a snuggler and is eager to please. He is potty trained and crate trained. Training on the leash has been slow and steady but he is getting the hang of it. A note of consideration: Rocko becomes anxious and reactive when around other dogs and small children. We are seeking a home for him without other animals and children.

Taco and Dixie are a delightful bonded pair of senior dogs! Taco is a 9 year-old Aussiedoodle and Dixie is an 8 year-old Lab mix. These two bring each other so much comfort. Where Dixie goes, Taco won`t be far behind! They were surrendered to CHA when their owner could no longer care for them. Dixie is an absolute lap dog. She doesn`t care how big she is, she will be sitting in your lap. All she wants is attention and cuddles. Taco is a more mellow guy, but he`ll never say no to belly rubs. This charming pair can`t wait to find a home where they can laze around together. Come meet Taco and Dixie today!
