Story
Sam is a large 5 year old neutered Standard Poodle. I am 69 years old and am realizing that his aggressive personality is too much for me to safely handle on my own. My son will be moving out soon which is why I need to rehome Sam. I’ve raised him as a pup and have have gone through many obedience classes. He is smart but very protective of me. He would make an excellent guarding companion for a person who has experience with large dogs. He lives with a 3 year old male standard poodle that is about half his size and they get along most of the time. I would not recommend a family with small children. Sam is high energy and very strong. His leash skills are good, but he does bark. I feel that Sam needs someone who is physically able to comfortably reinforce good behavior.
