We have an Irish Wolfhound mix! Meet Hera ❤️ About two months ago, sweet Hera was dumped after having puppies. Her foster mom has helped her to get healthy again and now she’s ready to find her people! 🤍 At 91 pounds and just 18 months old, Hera is a Great Pyrenees / Irish Wolfhound mix and still very much a puppy at heart — just in an extra-large, very tall, wire haired package. Hera’s perfect day includes lounging on a cool tile floor, soaking up belly rubs and accepting snacks like the royalty she clearly believes she is. She has a sweet and submissive play style, does great with large dogs, and is also cat friendly 🐶🐱 She’s already house trained and crate trained and she knows “sit” like a champion. Hera is very food motivated, which makes her eager to learn and easy to train as she continues working on her manners. Now, every great dog has a special talent — and Hera’s happens to be counter surfing 🥴 If snacks are left unattended, she will absolutely assume they were meant for her 🤣 A Hera-proof kitchen just means keeping food safely out of reach. Despite her size, Hera is a laid-back cuddle bug who loves to relax, chew on toys, and hang out with her people. She would do best in a home ready for a big, lovable dog who’s still learning the ropes of being a well-mannered adult. If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy, snack-loving gentle giant, Hera might just be your perfect match. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative.
