Story
Wallace came to us as a rescue 4 years ago from a farm where he was abandoned by his mother who had been mistreated and the woners had stopped feeding her. He was a tiny puppy, full of life and wonder and no health issues unlike his brother who we also adopted. Wallace eventually grew into his ears.and his big paws! His birthday is April 9th, he will be 4 years old as of this April 2026. He's always been a good hunter of sorts, loves to chaise squirrels especially when able to :) He loves to run, he has a long gate when he gets going and can cover lots of ground. We was originally crate trained when we first adopted him but since relocating to Minneapolis he has not used his crate, but he was very good about going into the crate for sleep at night. He is a.tall dog so you have to be careful about leaving food on counters.as he'll enjoy a snack if he can reach it lol. He does really well on walking in the city when we incorporate the gentle leader, this helps keep him from pulling.

Miyazato, L 76068, R 54DHi, I’m Miya! I am a smart, playful, curious and inquisitive girl, and learned the routine in my foster home very quickly. I love ripping the guts out of squeaky toys! I can do stairs, and walk well with my pack. I can be distracted by all the things to see and sniff, and sometimes struggle with refocusing on the walk. I love getting up early, and have started instigating early morning play sessions with one of the other dogs I live with! Hooray! I hope you love getting up early too. I like meeting new people, but sometimes if there are a lot of people I can be a little shy. But that is easily fixed with TREATS. I love treats! I do have a very high prey drive, and want to chomp cats and squirrels and birds and small fluffy dogs, so I guess we need to work on that? I will accept my kennel, but I prefer to be part of the action always. Do you think I’d be a great addition to your home? O Ya Bailey, L 75356, R 92FHi, I’m Bailey! I am chill about some things, but not others. I would probably be ok as an only dog. I really really really love getting attention from my people, but I am also ok when they let me know that it’s time to just lie down and be quiet for a bit. But I would prefer to be attached to you at all times if I could. I like walks, and I like chasing bunnies in the yard, and I also like snacks! Peanut butter is delicious, do you know about it? Yum. I have been informed that my leash manners are not the best, that I need to pick a side to walk on and stick with it, but there’s so much to see and sniff! I have met children and did ok, but I am not very good with my manners around other dogs, so that is something we would need to work on together. Do you think I’d be a great addition to your home?
