Story
Beautiful pup! A delightful blend of Black Labrador Retriever, Golden Retriever, and Boerboel Mastiff, which means one thing for sure. They are going to be big, beautiful dogs when fully grown. At just four months old, they are already long-legged, lanky, and impressively sized for their age, with lean bodies that hint at the strong, majestic companions they will become. Their “teenage” bodies will certainly thicken up drastically the older they become! Right now, they are in their classic puppy era. That means happy zoomies, goofy curiosity, wiggly greetings, and all the playful silliness that makes raising a puppy such a joyful adventure. They love attention, thrive on interaction, and are soaking up the world around them like little sponges. Each one has their own personality, but they all share the same sweet nature, playful spirit, and eagerness to love and be loved. These pups will do best in homes prepared for a large breed dog’s needs, including training, structure, exercise, and continued socialization. With guidance and consistency, they have all the potential to grow into loyal, affectionate, and well-mannered companions. Before completing an application, please take into consideration breed characteristics, puppy shenanigans, and estimated full-grown size. • I am full of razor-sharp puppy teeth and LOVE to chew. • I am not house trained or crate trained (but I’m working on it). • I need daily exercise, playtime, and mental enrichment—not long hours confined in a crate. • I require quality time to learn good manners, basic obedience, house training, and proper socialization. • I’ve had a rough start in life and need a home committed to helping me learn what love and loyalty really mean. • We place our dogs and puppies into homes that meet their specific needs. Be sure to visit our Facebook page for additional pictures and updates on our rescues: Canine Partners Program Inc Please note: We cannot guarantee breed or breed mix, as our information is often limited to what is observed or shared by a previous owner. Changes in environment may also affect behavior, so while we do our best to assess each dog, we cannot guarantee personality traits, temperament, or preferences. All of our dogs are fully vetted, including: • Spay or neuter • Age-appropriate vaccinations • Rabies vaccination • Microchipping • Heartworm and Lyme testing • Deworming • Flea and tick treatment • Heartworm prevention • Any other necessary medical care Foster-to-adopt means the dog will live with you while completing any remaining veterinary care. Once completed, the adoption is finalized. Each adoption includes a 6-week group obedience class (a $125 value). If adopting a puppy under 6 months of age, we cover the cost of spay/neuter at the appropriate time. Paws-in-Prison dogs are not available for adoption until they complete their training program. However, you may apply in advance to reserve your highly trained companion.
