BONDED PAIR - they require adoption together Meet Adeline & Peter (aka Addie & Pete) Addie is approximately 15 months old, brindle & white, and Pete is approximately 27 months old, black & white. They are spayed, neutered, fully vetted, & microchipped. ABTR was contacted after this adorable pair of bonded Boston landed at a shelter and, though initially unclaimed, subsequent contact with their owner revealed a financial hardship situation. Addie & Pete received excellent care with a favorite ABTR veterinarian and were promptly placed in a pre-approved and experienced foster home. They've been with their foster family for 3 months (since late October 2023) and personality traits have been assessed. Here's what foster dad reports: This pair is very bonded, where one goes the other is not far behind. They sleep in the same crate and cuddle together frequently. They will stay in their crate without issue but, naturally, are excited to get out and would prefer to sleep in the bed with you. They enjoy showing affection, readily give kisses, and thoroughly love to be held and cuddled. They like rides and do well in the car even over long distances. They are able to walk on a leash but currently have a fully fenced yard where they enjoy supervised exercise time to run and play so leash walks are not something they regularly experience at the present time. They like chasing balls and frisbees but do not like to share those toys. Addie is the more active of the two and enjoys chasing after birds and such in the yard. Pete is more mellow in chills out much more frequently. Like most Boston Terriers, they are not a fan of chilly weather & rain. They are not good with cats, kids, or loud noises (vacuum, Roomba, hair dryer). They will cower when spooked. They are making progress with potty training but still do have an occasional accident. A new adoptive home will need to continue consistent potty breaks while Addie & Pete master this skill. This pair would best thrive in a home without other pets. Though they do get along with their Boston Terrier foster brother, they (particularly Addie) sometimes get too excited and require intervention to separate. It is evident they received no training prior to entering ABTR's care and require placement in a setting committed to providing these youngsters with continued positive-reinforced training so they can master skills needed to grow into confident well-rounded dogs. An ideal home would be one familiar with the typical temperament, activity level, and personality the breed possesses. Addie & Pete are wonderful dogs, sweet & loving, and with proper training will provide someone a lifetime of joy! They are ready for their very own forever home, could it be yours? Story
Precious has a tumor in her bladder and can not control her bladder. She also has allergies and arthritis. She has been on medication and I was told to bring her back to the vet for test to see if the tumor has shrunk any but I can not afford the test. She was my mother in laws, who has passed away, and has been with me since she was a pup, she is somewhere around 10-12 years old now. After losing my mother in law and my husband I am on a single income and just have no extra money to put aside to help her. She loves cuddles and hugs, will play sometimes but mostly sleeps all day. Other than her bladder issues she seems to still be her normal self. I am hoping someone can take her and give her the quality of life for what time she has left. I honestly don't think she is ready to be put down and I can not give her what she needs. She has dental issues and may possibly have diabetes, she drinks a lot of water.

Story
🎀Lawley Sweet Lawley is a Boston Yorkie (Boston Terrier/Yorkie mix). This baby girl is adorable and just 9 pounds at 9 months old. Lawley and her brother Brodie didn’t have the best first few months of life but she has been awesome in her foster home. She is now crate and house trained (with frequent trips outside of course). Sweet Lawley loves to snuggle with the humans in her foster home. 🧸 She plays with her brother but is not too sure about the bigger dogs. Lawley is still learning about all the sounds and happenings that go on with a family so she will need someone patient to help her continue getting used to the good life in a real home 🏡 Since Lawley and Brodie basically survived together on their own for the first 7 months of their lives , we would love for them to be adopted together❤️ We would consider separating them if the perfect home presented itself. Please consider giving Little Brodie and Sweet Lawley the forever home they both deserve. ** combined adoption and transport fee for both would be $1,000. They are spayed , neutered , up to date on all vaccines, on flea/tick and Heartworm prevention and microchipped.

Story
🐾Brodie🐾 Little Brodie is a Boston Yorkie (Boston Terrier/Yorkie mix). He a is 9 month old scruffy boy who weights around 11 pounds. Brodie has only been in the rescue for a couple of months but has made great strides in coming out of his shell and getting used to nice humans. Before coming into the rescue he and his sister were basically just left to survive on their own outside in a yard. 😔 He is a smart boy who is now crate and house trained. 🎉 Brodie likes to play with his sister Lawley but he can entertain himself with toys and sticks as well. He likes pets and to snuggle beside his person. Brodie still gets a little spooked with quick movements and a lot of noise so a low key home is definitely what he would be most comfortable with. He is fine with his sister but the bigger dogs in the foster home make him a little nervous. We would love for Brodie and sister Lawley to be adopted together since they depended on each other to survive the first 7 months of their lives but would consider separating them if it’s the perfect home🎈 ** combined adoption and transport fee for both would be $1,000. They are spayed, neutered , up to date on all vaccines, on flea/tick and Heartworm prevention and microchipped.

Story
From Bea's foster Momma . . . Bea is a great dog; she is just as sweet as can be and will make someone a wonderful best friend! She was turned in to a shelter supposedly found as a stray. She's a Boston mix, we have no clue what she is mixed with, she is brindle and white with Boston markings, 30 - 35 lbs., a tad bigger and taller than the average Boston, with a full tail. Our best guess is 3 - 5 yrs. old. She's the sweetest girl! She has plenty of play energy, is a great walking / running partner, but will chill out on the couch with you too. She is house broken, and crate trained. She sleeps in her crate every night, and she goes out to potty willingly. She absolutely LOVES my 2- and 3-year-old grandkids and is GREAT with them. She gets along with all our dogs, a male Boston and Frenchton, 3 Pit mixes 1 male and 2 female, and a giant male chocolate lab, as well as family and neighbor dogs. I have not seen her around cats so can't speak to that. She responds well to discipline and is eager to please which makes her easy to train. She LOVES to run and play so she requires a nice fenced in area to run free, and she loves playing with other dogs and would do best with a fur-sibling.
