Story

This application must be approved online before the pet can be introduced. It is not available to be seen in public areas.If your application is approved, you will be able to come in and meet the dog before making a final decision. Ribbit is an adorable Boston Terrier that weighs about 29 pounds and his estimated date of birth is 9/1/23. He is active and fun-loving and loves interacting with human friends. He does not, however, do well with other animals. He will need to go to an owner with an established veterinarian who is able to provide follow-up care. Because he came in with and was treated for multiple heath issues a mandatory veterinary consult prior to adoption is required. His adoption fee is $100 and not subject to sales.Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.

Coco and Mugs came to us from the euthanasia list at the Memphis animal Shelter. Their owner surrendered them because they were having a baby. Coco is smaller than she looks in photos, she walks great on a leash, loves belly rubs, and wants to please. She rides great in the car. She is up to date on shots and will be spayed April 8th.

Ian is a young, playful pup with a heart as big as his personality. He came into rescue with a shattered hip that has since healed, leaving him with an adorable “wonky” gait. When he runs, his back leg sometimes flails out to the side—but it doesn’t slow him down one bit. If anything, it just makes him even more unforgettable. Personality & Play Style: Ian is a social, toy-loving goofball who thrives on fun. He always has a toy in his mouth—seriously, always. He’ll take them outside, bring them back in, and politely “check” them at the door until you hand them back. He loves playing with other dogs, especially games of chase and keep-away. After playtime, Ian enjoys winding down with his favorite toy and appreciates a little personal space during his chill time.
