Looking for a little dog with a whole lot of heart? Meet Ian! Ian is a 1.5-year-old black and white sweetheart who proves every day that a rough start does not define your future. This pint-sized boy previously suffered a hip injury, which has healed beautifully, and his happy, playful spirit never missed a beat. Ian is fun, boisterous, and full of contagious joy. He loves attention, enjoys romping around with his toys, and is always ready for a cuddle when playtime winds down. He does well with other dogs and would make a wonderful addition to a home with canine friends. Ian also loves his food and is happily not picky. He eats from a slow-feeder bowl to help him enjoy his meals at a healthy pace and aid digestion. Medical Transparency (the important but reassuring part): Ian has Diabetes Insipidus, which is not the same as diabetes mellitus. This condition affects how his body concentrates urine and has nothing to do with blood sugar. • Oral medication only — no shots or injections • Takes medication twice daily to maintain healthy urine concentration and support full bladder emptying • Medication may be lifelong or temporary, depending on future veterinary guidance • Medication cost can vary depending on the veterinarian or pharmacy • Needs frequent potty breaks Ian does wonderfully on his routine and is otherwise a happy, active, affectionate young dog. He is looking for a loving home that will appreciate his joyful personality and continue his simple daily care so he can thrive for years to come. Buster ( male ) Buster is very people friendly, and very food motivated! Even milk bones get his attention! He does go off and adventure a little, but always comes right back! He didnt seem interested in toys right off the bat, but he would run up to the other dogs as they would walk by, and would wag his little curled tail! He doesnt mind being carried around, so I didn't try to leash him. He was very content on being close to me, he will make an awesome best friend, he's very sweet!

Bubba ( male ) Bubba stayed closer to me longer than Buster did, he didn't really go off and adventure, he just stayed right next to me, happily accepting all snacks tossed his way! He did climb up in my lap for a minute before getting down to check if he missed anything good on the ground lol. He is very sweet, and loves attention! He is okay with being carried, so I didn't try to leash him. He does run out of the kennel sometimes when we open the door, but he doesn't take off, he comes back when I start smooching or baby talking him. He would do best with a fenced yard I believe!
