Story
Iris is blind and deaf. Meet Iris! Meet Iris, affectionately known as Nutburger, Little Flower, and Cuddlebug! This sweet 3-year-old, 20-pound pup is a bundle of joy and affection, eagerly looking for her forever home. Since Iris is new to our care, she hasn't had the opportunity to meet other dogs, cats, or kids yet. However, she has been doing well with her bathroom training and, with the right treats, will go into her kennel. While she isn't thrilled about being in there, she's adjusting. Iris is a bit of a velcro dog, always wanting to be close to her humans. She loves to sit on your lap and wiggles with joy whenever she sees you. Iris enjoys playing keep away with soft toys around the coffee table and loves building a cozy nest in her bed. She adores neck massages and scratches, and she's a big fan of cucumbers, pup cups, watermelon, and cheese. She does seem to be sensitive about her hind end being touched and prefers her treats to be served below her chin. Iris has an excellent nose and loves to hunt for treats or her favorite squeaky whale and crocodile toys around the house. As we get to know her better, we'll share more about her personality and quirks. If you think Iris would make a wonderful addition to your family, please apply now!
