Story
The Madea pups bring the More to Labs and More! These little roly poly pups were born to super sweet Madea, a smaller sized girl around 25 lbs. Madea is likely a mix of many dogs including Boston Terrier, Chihuahua and possibly Pug or Shar Pei. We don't know what all these puppies are mixed with but think they will be small to medium sized dogs when done growing. They are rambunctious, inquisitive, happy go lucky puppies that loves to explore and play. Payne is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion. We do not allow our dogs or puppies to sleep or live outside; they must be incorporated into your family and be made a priority in your life. In return, you will have the most loving and loyal family member you could ask for. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting a Madea pup, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for looking to Adopt a Labrador Retriever or other Mixed Breed Dog from California Labradors Retrievers and More Rescue. Please take a moment and go to www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt to complete our online dog adoption application. If you have any questions email us at doginfo@labsandmore.org or call us at 858-273-5386. Thank you for looking to a rescue group to fulfill your dream of adding a new dog to your life! Story
Madea is here to be your new best friend! She loves people and it's not hard to fall in love with her sweetness. We believe Madea is a mix of Boston Terrier, Chihuahua and maybe Pug or Shar Pei with her stout body and wrinkles. She gets along great with other dogs, but loves to chase critters like squirrels and rabbits. She would love a playful dog buddy in her forever home that matches her energy or would love a family that can set up social playdates with dog friends. She is affectionate, house trained, good with kids and sleeps quietly in her crate at night. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Madea, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. Story
*This is a courtesy listing.* Meet Bella! Bella is a sweet and playful 15-year-old Boston Terrier mix in need of a loving new home. After 10 years in her home, she is struggling to adjust to the young children who are now part of her family. After much consideration, Bella's family has made the difficult decision to find a happier situation for her. All about Bella: - She does great with older kids and adults. - She enjoys pets and scratches. - She has spent time around small dogs, large dogs, and chickens! - She generally does well with other animals, but prefers the company of mature dogs, not puppies. - She has spurts of energy still even in her old age and loves to play! - She is used to having access through a doggie door whenever she needs to go out, so she doesn't ask to go out if she has to go. - She eats kibble and grazes throughout the day. - She is not on any medications. To learn more about Bella, please contact Melanie at 978-317-1018 or melaniebianca316@gmail.com. *Frosted Faces Foundation has not assessed this dog medically or behaviorally.*
