Story
Adoptable Gomez is one of the sweetest puppies we’ve met! He is about 12 months old, has a BEAUTIFUL brindle-ish coat, and is just a bundle of love. Gomez was listed at the shelter as a French bulldog mix and we actually think he probably does have some Frenchie - he has a cute little underbite and Frenchie ears 💗🥹 But he’s definitely mixed with some other things. He will be a medium sized dog as he’s only about 30 lbs at nearly 12 months old. Gomez loves other dogs, and is on the submissive side. He has done well with house training and crate training, but like any puppy will require some time and routine to get things down perfectly.

Story
Meet Titus! 13-year-old Titus was surrendered by his family after financial issues made it necessary for them to move and a change in jobs led them to be away from home for long hours. Upon welcoming him as a Frosted Face on September 9th, our staff and volunteers fell in love with this sweet, calm, and affectionate 35 lb. cutie. Soon after his arrival at FFF, Titus was scooped up for a two-week Frosted Fling that quickly turned into a Foster home. His foster mom has only wonderful things to share about Titus: "Titus is a total love bug that just wants to be pet and cuddled all day. He’s low-key but does enjoy a leisurely walk. He’ll also chase tennis balls. Titus is great with other dogs, including my own. I was told that he’s not good with cats, but he hasn’t encountered one with me. Titus settled right in and figured out the stairs to the couch. He is house-trained and has not had a single accident. He always lets me know when he needs to go out. When I leave home, Titus just heads straight to my bed and falls asleep. Titus is so sweet!" Titus accompanies his Foster mom to her hair salon every day and is a big hit with all of her clients. Be sure to watch the adorable video of Titus at "work!" Titus also went to the Frosted Faces Halloween SUP fundraiser where he went paddle boarding. He did great on the water, as well as with everyone he met, whether they had two or four legs! To meet this special boy, please email placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org

Story
Paralyzed in her back legs, Polly was heartbreakingly abandoned in the lobby of the Riverside County Department of Animal Services. After the shelter reached out to us for help, we welcomed her into the Frosted Faces family. Polly is approximately 8 years old and weighs 20 pounds. Despite the challenges she’s faced, she remains incredibly sweet, friendly, and full of spirit. Every person Polly meets is a new friend, and she LOVES attention - pets, belly rubs, snuggles - all of it! We outfitted Polly with a custom set of wheels, and she surprised us all with how quickly she adapted—happily cooperating as we helped her in and out, then taking off like she’d been using them her whole life! Polly is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling to enjoy spending time in a home while she waits for her forever family. Her Fling Mom shares: "It’s been a little over a week with Miss Polly P, and I fall more in love with her everyday! I had a lot of learning to do to when it came to wheels, diapers, drag bag, and expressing her bladder, but with practice, it no longer feels difficult, only more time consuming. The love Polly radiates makes all of it SO worth it. She may have extra needs, but she is so easygoing in all other aspects of pet care. Getting on Polly's diaper can be challenging, but as I mentioned, practice goes a long way. It’s only been a week, and I’m already so much better and more efficient now than I was when I first got her. She may give you a playful nibble at times, but that’s just her saying “Hurry up! I want to keep moving!” I can’t emphasize enough how incredible of a dog Polly is." Check back soon for the full report on Polly's Fling! To meet Polly, please email placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org

Story
Meet Baguette! This nibbly boy transferred to us from the San Diego Humane Society! Baguette was found as a stray and taken to a local vet. He was picked up by Humane Law Enforcement not long after and taken to SDHS. He had been there a month prior where he was secluded due to his kennel stress and was on anxiety medications. They were working to address his health concerns when we took over. His previous owner must have left him outdoors as he had healing fly bites on his ears, corneal scarring on his left eye, healing scrapes on his lower back, and was underweight. During his time with us we weaned him off his anxiety medications, his skin has improved, and we continue to work on the cause of his gastrointestinal upset. Health implications aside, Baguette has been an energetic busy bee with his new friends, loves to nibble on the staff's fingers, and is such a ball of joy! Health considerations: Baguette still has consistent blood in his stools. We have conducted a series of blood and parasite tests, all of which did not point to any root cause. We are working through changes to his prescribed diet to find what will work best for his gastrointestinal concerns. The next step in addressing his health concerns is an abdomen ultrasound. We have an appointment with a specialist for his ultrasound on 12/16 and hope to come closer to diagnosing his ailment in the near future. Baguette has permanent corneal scarring on his left eye. This does not greatly affect his eyesight as it is rather small. Please note that Baguette is not available until he has a diagnosis and treatment/management plan. Regarding COVID-19 and other contagious illnesses: Please reschedule any visits if you are sick.

Story
Frank is a 7 year old Frenchie. He’s been with our family since he was 10 weeks old. He was from a breeder in the Bay Area and has his paperwork. All shots up to date and well taken care of. He has always been a sweet boy with fun energy but also likes to chill. Since having children (we have a 4 year old daughter and an 18 month old son), Frank has been more anxious and nervous :(. He is a little protective of the kids and myself and doesn’t love new people entering the house right now. He’s a sweet boy who needs a chance and lots of cuddles and love. He would do well in a home with no other pets, no children and someone who lives a calm life, with not a lot of change or travel. He needs someone to cuddle with and be home with most of the time.
