🐾 Adoption Update! 🐾 There will be no adoption event this weekend, but that doesn’t mean the cuteness stops! 🥰 Throughout the week, we’ll be featuring some of our wonderful cats and dogs who are still waiting patiently to find their forever homes. 💕 We will still be doing meet-and-greets for anyone who is pre-approved to adopt, so if you’ve been thinking about adding a furry friend to your family, now’s the perfect time! 🏡🐶🐱 Just fill out the adoption application below to get pre-approved — it’s quick and easy! ✨ Meet Tux! ✨ This sweet boy is around 6 to 8 years old and has been with our rescue for almost two years waiting for that special home to call his own. 🖤🤍 Tux is paralyzed from the waist down, but don’t let that fool you — he doesn’t let anything slow him down! 💪 He does have a little wheelchair, but he prefers to scoot around on his own, and he gets around amazingly well. Because of his paralysis, Tux wears diapers or belly wraps and will need a home that can give him a little extra care and a lot of love. ❤️ He’s great with other dogs and kids, and he absolutely loves to play with squeaky toys — they’re his absolute favorite! 🧸 He’s up to date on vaccines and neutered, ready to roll (or scoot!) right into your heart. 🥹 Tux is truly one of a kind — a happy, loving boy who just needs someone special to see past his differences and give him the forever home he’s been dreaming of. 🌟 Thank you for watching and for always supporting our rescue mission. 🐾Chewy🐾   🐾Little man Chewy is a 10 year old pug/chihuahua mix that needs a special home. He gets along with other dogs and cats, but is not usually interested in playing with them. He prefers people, especially someone that will become his person. Young children are not recommended. He must be handled respectfully, and on his terms. He will come to you when he wants petted, to get belly rubs, and sit on your lap. 🐾Chewy is on anxiety medication, and will need to continue it to help him stay his happy self. He needs a home that will allow him to live out his life in comfort.    🐾Chewy knows how to use a doggie door. He will crate for treats. He prefers to sleep next to his human. He walks on leash and loves car rides. When on leash, a halter is recommended, pulling on a collar makes him cough. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, on yearly heartworm prevention, and is microchipped.
