When he first arrived, he was very shy and scared, but he is beginning to come out of his shell and gain confidence. He does well with kids and other dogs, though his behavior around cats is unknown. He is up to date on vaccinations, fixed, microchipped, and has tested negative for heartworm. Despite his timid start, he has a soft, loving side. Hey everyone! My name is Dixie! I am a 1.5 year old Boston terrier girl and 15 pounds. I am petite, could stand to gain a few pounds actually, and a wonderful happy sweet girl! I’m fostered in a home with cats, kids, and other dogs as small as 3 pounds up to a Great Dane. I can chase the kitties sometimes but I don’t hurt them or try to hurt them, I’ll just need a home with parents that will make sure I’m respectful and know my boundaries towards my kitty siblings. I was surrendered by my owner to the shelter because they no longer could afford me or the other dogs in our home, unchained souls took all of us. I have excellent crate and house manners and I’m a sweet happy girl!! Adoption donation fee is $500 which it is tax-deductible and goes towards the care of homeless pets with Unchained Souls Canine Rescue.
