Meet Hank, a handsome Splash Boston Terrier! At 8 years old and 23 lbs, this sweet boy is full of life and still has plenty of pep in his step. He’s a high-energy little guy who loves to play, run around the yard, go for walks and be right in the middle of whatever his people are doing. He has never met a stranger and is quick to jump on a lap and give kisses. He is potty trained, crate trained and does well with routine, making him an easy addition to a home that appreciates structure and consistency. While he adores people of all ages, he can be a bit timid around larger dogs and would do best with gentle canine companions or dogs closer to his size. Hank is looking for a loving family who will enjoy his lively personality, respect his sensitivities, and give him the attention he thrives on. With the right home, he’ll be a devoted and entertaining companion for years to come. Hank is being fostered in St. Peters, MO and his adoption fee is $200. Hi there, I'm Bang! I'm just a puppy, full of energy and curiosity. My days are spent exploring my surroundings, sniffing out new scents, and playing with my brothers, Bing and Bong. We're quite the trio! I love making new friends, both human and canine. My goofy nature and playful antics will keep you entertained for hours. I'm always ready for a game of fetch or a good belly rub. I'm eager to learn and I've got so much love to give. If you're looking for a friendly, energetic companion who will bring joy and laughter into your life, I'm your pup! If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. #adoptdontshop ##2352756##
