Contact information is provided in the description below.Roxie is a sweet girl who needs a new home.She arrived at the owner's father's house as a stray over a year ago, and when the neighbors called animal control, he stepped in to take her. However, since then, the owner's mom has passed, and her dad's health is making it difficult to maintain a house/yard; he is planning to move into a retirement community. Unfortunately, Roxie isn't allowed to go with him. It breaks his heart, but he has to move for many reasons. We are looking for a loving home for her. She is around 65 lbs, has been spayed, vaccinated, and is very trainable. She has a lot of energy, but she's eager to learn and please. She is comfortable with a yard with a fence or snuggling on the couch. She is housetrained.We had a trainer evaluate her, and he said she would be best in a home with a fence (since she needs lots of exercise) and no small children (not due to aggression but to overstimulation and the need to be gradually socialized).We are willing to travel to meet or deliver her to the perfect home!If you are interested in Roxie, please email erofamily@yahoo.com

Daisy is a resilient and silly girl. With her cute tongue hanging out to the side and her occasional talking, she is sure to put a smile on your face.Daisy enjoys lounging on the porch or couch, but especially when she’s next to her person. She is still getting used to being a tripod, but it’s not slowing her down. She cruises around the yard and up and down stairs. Sometimes she needs a reminder to not overdo it or else she will be a little sore. She gets excited when she sees kids, and you can tell she wants to play. She loves her toys too! She tolerates other dogs but doesn’t really interact much with them. She is such a sweetheart and can’t wait to be a part of your family.Daisy is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, a tripod, started on monthly flea and heartworm prevention and her adoption fee is $300.  Apply to meet and adopt Daisy at mpravl.org. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. We brought Charles home in June of 2018 to our small family of 3 back when we lived in Washington State. Charles came from a private purebred Boston Terrier breeder in Oregon. He was just 8 weeks old at the time. We loved him right away! Since then, we’ve grown as a family. We now have 4 children and are expecting our 5th. I (the wife) am homeschooling full time, running a home, and taking care of the littles throughout the day while my husband runs our non-profit and travels for work. Our life is becoming more and more full with responsibilities, and unfortunately, Charles is getting less play time and focused attention from us. We hope to find him a family that offers him the love and attention he deserves! Important: Charles had his right eye removed a year ago due to a bite he received in the face from another dog. He’d run out of the house to say hi to another dog being walked in our neighborhood, and the dog bit him in the face. However, Charles is still sweet and good natured!
