Bugsy sure ain’t for the faint of heart! He may be 17lb but man, this boy got some sass! Don’t expect him to be a docile lap dog. That may come after he has a chance to expand his energy. This boy has an agenda, and he has a mission to accomplish it! Bugsy loves to be outside. He loves the smell of fresh air, the flowers, the grass … he’s down for any outside activities. Sometimes you catch him with his eyes closed, just soaking it all in. He walks well on a leash. He may pull a little with hurried paces. He is just too excited to be out and about. Bugsy sure has an adventurous streak 😊 Off leash, he is fast. He zooms around, surprisingly fast for his little legs. If there is a dog out, he likes to run along the fence with it. He is friendly with other dogs, but he plays a little rough. He likes to stand on his back legs and grabs his friends with his front legs, boxing style haha! When not outside doing fun things, Bugsy is a sweet, sweet friendly boy. He loves his people. He is very affectionate and looks to you often for assurance. Bugs loves toys and balls. He entertains himself, chasing after balls. He is not a fan of the crate. He does not like confined spaces. Bugs is a picky eater. He is not much of a straight kibble fan. A little bit of topper goes a long way for him. Bugsy is 4 years old, 17lb Boston Terrier. He is looking for a semi-active family who embraces his love for adventures and his love to be part of family activities. Parks, hikes, car rides, vacations. Bugs is small enough to be toted around and energetic enough to keep up with whatever you have going on. Friendly with people and dogs, he can go just about anywhere. Bugsy is perfect for a family who is on the go and wants to bring along their pup. A fenced yard is preferred given Bugs’ love for the outdoors.

Thanks to prompt treatment and lots of TLC, Enzo has made a full recovery and is now feeling great. Now that he’s healed, Enzo is ready for what he wants most: a forever home of his very own. Enzo is a sweet, resilient boy who has been through a lot and come out the other side with his loving spirit intact. Enzo is looking for a home that will cherish him, keep up with his routine veterinary care, and give him the love and stability he deserves. "BEANZ" #5078 is a 1 year young, 37lb, NEUTERED male Boston terrier mix. His photos don't do him justice, he's not a large dog and his face is so much cuter in person! UGH! He seems shy when first meeting him, but he warms up. He will need some training since he is still a youngster. Currently he is being treated for an ear infection, as well as a skin infection, so the adopter will need to follow up with any medical needs. Don't think about it, call the Lake County Dog Shelter to meet him (440) 350-2640.

 Meet Greta! Greta is a gorgeous, 27-pound Frenchie who considers herself practically perfect in every way—and honestly, she might be right. At 3 years old, she’s mastered the art of balancing diva-level confidence with irresistible charm. Greta loves to be the star of the show. If you dare pet another dog within her sight, she’ll gracefully (but firmly) booty-bump her way in so your attention returns to its rightful place—her! Despite her cuddly side, Greta isn’t a couch potato. She’s playful, smart, and enjoys raiding the toy box, playing tug with her humans, and even engaging with a few canine friends who meet her high standards. This girl is as sweet and affectionate as they come. She’s great with people, has excellent house manners, and is crate trained—but behaves so well that her foster family often gives her free rein of the downstairs when they head out. She’s fully housebroken, loves neighborhood walks (weather permitting), and happily tags along anywhere her humans go. Greta walks beautifully on leash—no pulling, no drama—and only barks when she’s excited. At night, she’s happiest burrowed under the covers, preferably snuggled as close as she can possibly get...even if that means shoving you off the side.  Like most Frenchies, Greta comes with a few breed quirks. She has typical GI and skin sensitivities, well managed on a high quality limited-ingredient (LID) diet. She also previously had a small, low-grade mast cell tumor removed completely, so her future family should keep up routine vet checks to be safe. Because Frenchies can require specialized care, we’re only seeking an adopter with frenchie breed experience who understands their unique (and totally worth-it) challenges.
