Story
Hi, I’m Olive. I’m an 11-year-old Boston Terrier girl with a black-and-white coat, one eye, and a whole lot of love to give. I may be small at 15 pounds, but I’ve spent my life being a loyal little companion to my people. I’ve lived with kids, cats, and other dogs, and I especially adore my owner’s five-year-old son. I’m gentle, chill, and more of a quiet observer than the life of the party. I can be a little shy at first, but once I trust you, I’m the kind of dog who just wants to stay close and love you forever. These days, life has gotten a little harder for me. I have itchy skin and food allergies that need some management, and I also have slight incontinence, which means I sometimes leak a little pee without meaning to. My family loves me deeply, but they’re moving to an apartment where accidents on the carpet just aren’t possible anymore. This decision is breaking their hearts. I also lost one of my eyes a couple years ago after a bigger dog accidentally injured me while playing. It was surgically removed, but honestly? I’ve adapted just fine. I still get around well and enjoy being part of the family. I don’t let it stop me from being me. I’m house trained, crate trained, and leash trained, though I do pull a little on walks because I still like to see the world. Right now I spend a lot of time in my crate and I’m often left alone for 8+ hours a day, so I’d really love a home where I can spend more time near someone kind and caring. My perfect home would be calm, soft, and understanding — someone willing to help me through my senior years. I don’t need adventures or chaos. I just need comfort, patience, and someone who will love an older girl who still has so much love left to give. My family says I’m the greatest and most loyal dog they’ve ever owned. I hope there’s someone out there willing to give me one more safe place to call home.

Story
Dandelion seems to have collected all the best personality traits from the “perfect dog” variety pack and somehow fit them into her adorably perfect, portable 12-pound package. She's playful without being wild, affectionate without being clingy, social without being demanding, and carries herself with the quiet, friendly confidence of a dog who knows she's absolutely delightful. Add in her adorable smile, love of toys, and habit of rolling around happily in the grass, and you have a little dog who turns ordinary moments into dreamy perfection. Go watch Dandelion Dot on YouTube, then come right back to read more about this one-of-a-kind little gem. https://youtu.be/L8ZuTt4wwnc Estimated to be around 1.5 years old, weighing 12 pounds, and looking very much like a Boston Terrier/Wirehaired Terrier mix, which of course we cannot guarantee given she is a rescue but you can see what we see just the same. What we do know is that she is an exceptionally easy dog to live with and love. Dandelion is currently thriving in a foster home where she's proven herself to be wonderfully adaptable. She gets along beautifully with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities as well as feline friends. In fact, there is something a little cat-like about Dandelion herself. She enjoys having canine friends to run and play with and is always happy to join in on the fun, but she doesn't need another dog in the home to be happy. She is self-entertaining and confident enough to shine all on her own.She has also lived with children and has shown herself to be gentle, playful, and perfectly happy to snuggle or play dress-up. She's independent enough to entertain herself, enjoys finding cozy places to relax, and seems perfectly content simply observing the world around her before deciding whether she'd like to participate. When she isn't supervising household activities, you'll likely find her carrying around a toy, accepting treats with a smile, perfecting her lap-dog ambitions, or flopping dramatically into the grass for a good roll. She loves simple pleasures and approaches life with an easy, joyful attitude. Dandelion is also a wonderful companion outside the house. She rides nicely in the car, walks beautifully on leash, and handles new environments with the kind of confidence that makes taking her places easy and enjoyable. Her ideal home does not include shared wall/apartment living- Dandelion does like to chat a bit when left alone in a crate, so a home where her letting you know she will miss you won't be an issue will set everyone up for success. If you've been hoping to find that rare dog who seems to fit effortlessly and make everything better- Dandelion is your girl! Sweet, social, funny, adaptable, and undeniably adorable, she is the kind of dog who will absolutely make life better and brighter. Ready to wish on this Dandelion? Story
Meet Ian – Your Slightly Wonky, Totally Wonderful Adventure Buddy If you like piña coladas and getting caught in the rain… Ian might just be your perfect match. This little Boston Terrier mix lives life full throttle—zooming through the yard like he’s racing in the Indy 500, making pit stops in imaginary swamps with Shrek, and embracing every muddy, joy-filled moment along the way (bonus points if you don’t mind getting a little dirty with him). Ian is a young, playful pup with a heart as big as his personality. He came into rescue with a shattered hip that has since healed, leaving him with an adorable “wonky” gait. When he runs, his back leg sometimes flails out to the side—but it doesn’t slow him down one bit. If anything, it just makes him even more unforgettable. Personality & Play Style: Ian is a social, toy-loving goofball who thrives on fun. He always has a toy in his mouth—seriously, always. He’ll take them outside, bring them back in, and politely “check” them at the door until you hand them back. He loves playing with other dogs, especially games of chase and keep-away. After playtime, Ian enjoys winding down with his favorite toy and appreciates a little personal space during his chill time. Because of this, he’d do best with a laid-back, respectful dog companion—especially one around his size or slightly smaller who won’t bother him when he’s relaxing. Snuggles Included: Once the zoomies are out, Ian is all about couch time. He’ll curl up beside you, toy in tow, and drift off while you watch TV. The perfect mix of playful and snuggly. Communication Style (aka his signature move): Ian has the best voice—a raspy, screechy, baby pterodactyl sound that he proudly uses to let you know when he’s ready to come out of his crate or needs a potty break. It’s hilarious, endearing, and very effective. He’ll also quietly go sit by the door, so keep an eye out—he’s a good boy who just needs you to notice his polite signals. Mealtime & Care: Ian is an enthusiastic foodie, so he uses a slow feeder bowl to keep mealtime safe and comfortable. Medical Transparency: Due to his past injury, Ian has diabetes insipidus. The good news: • No injections required • Managed with oral medication twice daily • Just needs a few extra potty breaks His condition is well-managed, and he’s living a happy, active, zoomie-filled life. The Perfect Home for Ian: • An active home that enjoys play, laughter, and a little chaos • A consistent adopter who can manage his simple medical routine • A respectful dog companion—or he’d love being your one and only • Someone who appreciates a quirky, lovable personality Ian isn’t just a dog—he’s an experience. He’ll make you laugh daily, keep life interesting, and then curl up next to you like he’s always belonged there. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
