Story
Olive is a sweet loyal girl. My son and I love her so much! She is high energy and unfortunately overwhelms my cat too much, which is why I need to rehome her. She would do best on land with other animals. She is extremely snuggly at night and likes to burrow under the covers but can run and move all day! She’s great with my four year old son and loves cats can just be to excitable for them. Truly is the best girl in the world and wanted to find her a perfect fit!

Story
Due to some very unfortunate life circumstances Im looking for a home for my 6 year old Boston, Wakka. He's crate and potty trained. High energy, needs daily walks. Very sweet and loving towards people. Doesn't do well with toddlers or babies but does fine with kids otherwise. He's had some aggression towards other dogs on what he considers his territory (but hasn't bitten any, just barks incessantly), though being in a neutral area I haven't seen him react the same way. I think he would do best in a home as an only dog but I have brought three dogs into my home since having him and he just requires some extra time and positive reinforcement to coexist. He has a hiatal hernia and takes meds twice a day with food, they're cheap - about 5$ for 4 months as the pills are split in half, I'll give you a supply. His hernia just means he will occasionally regurgitate his food because his stomach can pop into his oesophagus if irritated.

Story
This sweet girl was rescued from euthanasia in TX back in November of 2023. Not much was known about her other than her being found on the streets with extensive wounds from a dog attack. She was estimated to be around 2 years old. She came home with us after being fostered for 3 weeks. We quickly realized that she is deaf and is very scared of just about everything. We have bought her an Ecollar which is helping with her training, but she’s still working on being fully potty trained and working on her on leash behavior. Not being able to hear makes her very jumpy on walks and she reacts to everything she sees. She lives with a dog and cat - took some time to get her and the dog acquainted, but she loves to play and wrestle. She seems to want to play with the cat, but the cat is not interested. She will require patience and understanding along with time to train her negative behaviors. She can be quite mouthy with small children and is very protective of food. 12 lbs.

Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Oreo - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Oreo, a delicious treat good any time of the day, hey hey, that's me! Just twist, lick and dunk along with me for a feel good moment anytime of the day! I have a cookie named just for me...well I haven't been around since 1912 so I guess I was named after the cookie. Either way, we're both sweet but get this, you won't have any guilt indulging in this Oreo!!! I'm only around 10months old and came in with a broken leg. We got me all fixed up and I can now run and jump and chase the other foster pups around!! I will hold that leg up every once in awhile but then I'm off on my next adventure using that leg just fine. I come in at the top end of the small category of 25lbs. I shouldn't get much bigger(taller) but may but on a few filling-out pounds. I'm a great size for any and all your action adventures but also a great size for being your BFF. I'm pretty quiet, have a super sweet disposition and get along great with other dogs. I could learn to tolerate a cat but it would probably be best if my home was cat free. I'm house and crate trained and let me tell you, that's a fantastic bonus for my new family. I also do well on the leash and love going for my daily walks! Do you need a BFF? A constant in your life? A lil cohort up for any crime you want to try? Hey, look no further, I'm just the gal you're looking for!!!!!

Story
Have you ever seen a cuter smile?! This bundle of joy and cuteness has the best personality. Shrek always has a smile on his face and he loves everything! He is curious, loves to explore and will always make sure you are smiling. He has that type of personality that will make you giggle even if he’s just sitting there. Mainly because his cute face is so expressive. Shrek also makes the cutest little piglet noises. He loves to throw a toy around to entertain himself or take naps on the couch. Shrek loves to be around people, he’s dog friendly, and also seemed very comfortable around my 5 year old son and three year old daughter. He is eager to please and is going to make a wonderful best friend for someone. Awesome riding in the car as an errand buddy as well! He is a cool best friend to have around. I love how he can keep himself occupied and entertained with a toy around the house. Watch his video here: https://youtu.be/R1yx85EsI2Y?si=Nwr_cTPeM6boZCFe Shrek Forever is what we believe to be a Boston Terrier pittie mix or boxer mix, approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 45 lbs and he is full grown! He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. He has a cute, corkscrew tail and a shiny healthy coat. Shrek absolutely loves everything and loves making new friends! Especially doggie friends. He is very dog friendly and did great meeting every dog we introduced him to. He does pull on the leash when he is meeting new dogs for the first time because he is so excited and does better with off leash introductions. He met dogs as little as 20 lbs and as big as 60 lbs and all he wanted to do is make friends with them all. Shrek is very tolerant with all sorts of play styles. His favorite type of play is rough and rowdy and he also enjoys a good game of chase. Shrek was also introduced to an older dominant female that gives very loud corrections when she doesn’t want to play or if a dog is being too pushy with her and he accepted the corrections very well. He loves to play and will be best placed in a home with another moderately playful dog. He matches the other dog's energy. So if you have a very playful dog, Shrek will play play play like the little engine that could. On the other hand, if you have a dog that is moderately playful that will play for short periods and not engage in further play when they are done playing, Shrek will match that energy and relax. He should be placed in a home with no kitty siblings. He was very interested in our resident cats during our cat test. Shrek does have energy and his preferred home that can get him to a play yard daily whether that be a dog park or a back yard. He loves to explore and would even enjoy going on short hikes with you. You’ll catch him in the yard with you with his nose to the ground getting in all the yummy smells while making the cutest little piglet noises. Shrek would also make for a great running partner and would gladly join you for a run around the neighborhood, just not marathons please. He does great meeting new people and is always eager and happy no matter what is going on. His eagerness to please and consistency will make training that much easier and enjoyable for you and him. To our knowledge, he is potty trained and crate trained but may need a reminder about where the appropriate potty places are once he is in a home. We are willing to test Shrek Forever with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
