Story
Luna was 9 months old when we adopted her from a shelter. When she was younger, she loved going for hikes, chasing balls, and learning new tricks. Now almost 12, she is an old lady who loves comfort: snuggles, naps on the couch, walks (sniffaris) and, most of all, food. She is very smart and knows lots of commands. She is on anti-anxiety meds, pain meds (arthritis), and allergy medication (seasonal allergies). As she's gotten older, she's become very reactive. She barks/snarls at anyone entering the house and on two occasions, has nipped strangers (no visible bite marks). She also growls/snarls/pins smaller dogs and started lunging after our cat, who she has known her whole life. Recently, she started growling and lunging at our 2-year-old, and we feel she is no longer safe in our home. Luna needs a home where she can be the center of attention: no other pets, no little kids, low foot traffic. We love her dearly, and hope she can live out her days in a safe, loving home.

Meet Bubbles, She is an eight year old lovebug that will be nine in June. After doing some due diligence with my father, we found a reputable breeder in the area. She's active and playful but loves to snuggle up on a lap any time she gets the chance. She loves to sleep with her person. Bubbles loves to camp, hike, loves calm rivers and splashing in lakes but pouts over a getting a bath and getting wet in the rain. Bubbles enjoys playing with stuffed animals and other toys. She loves kids that know boundaries. Bubbles is seeking a single dog home. She has grown up with her sister and we are now experiencing Littermate Syndrome and worry that the behavior might arise towards non litter mates.

Story
Looking for a little dog with a whole lot of heart? Meet Ian! Ian is a 1.5-year-old black and white sweetheart who proves every day that a rough start does not define your future. This pint-sized boy previously suffered a hip injury, which has healed beautifully, and his happy, playful spirit never missed a beat. Ian is fun, boisterous, and full of contagious joy. He loves attention, enjoys romping around with his toys, and is always ready for a cuddle when playtime winds down. He does well with other dogs and would make a wonderful addition to a home with canine friends. Ian also loves his food and is happily not picky. He eats from a slow-feeder bowl to help him enjoy his meals at a healthy pace and aid digestion. Medical Transparency (the important but reassuring part): Ian has Diabetes Insipidus, which is not the same as diabetes mellitus. This condition affects how his body concentrates urine and has nothing to do with blood sugar. • Oral medication only — no shots or injections • Takes medication twice daily to maintain healthy urine concentration and support full bladder emptying • Medication may be lifelong or temporary, depending on future veterinary guidance • Medication cost can vary depending on the veterinarian or pharmacy • Needs frequent potty breaks Ian does wonderfully on his routine and is otherwise a happy, active, affectionate young dog. He is looking for a loving home that will appreciate his joyful personality and continue his simple daily care so he can thrive for years to come. Are you ready to give this resilient, playful boy the forever home he deserves? Basic Info: Male, 1 yr old, Boston Terrier/Chihuahua, Coat: Black and White, neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots and preventions, preventatives. Local adoption fee (Texas) - $200 Out of state adoption (includes transport to your area) ‐ $450

Story
Meet Apple Connie – the beautiful, sophisticated lady with the squishy bulldog face, the most cuddle-able body in the business (she’s 38 pounds of pure love!), and a personality that makes everyone she meets instantly fall for her. Around 4 years old and overflowing with charm, Apple has quickly become a favorite here at the rescue—and for good reason. She’s on a mission to make best friends of us all, one kiss and cuddle at a time. Apple is what we like to call a professional lovebug. She thrives on affection and attention and believes belly rubs are a basic human responsibility. Whether she’s sunbathing in a golden patch of light, snoozing at your feet, or gently placing her head in your lap for pets, Apple is here to be your best snuggle buddy, emotional support potato, and constant companion. See her in action here, and come back to read more! Happy Apple the loving little bulldog!!!🍎 https://youtu.be/lpshPyvlu5M?si=Z6Nli59VJo63-t5L She’s a mellow, couch-loving girl who still enjoys her daily walks, especially if it means she gets to greet new people along the way. Apple is famously gentle when taking treats, has great manners in the house, and sleeps peacefully in her crate at night. She’s potty trained, crate-trained, and learning her leash skills like a champ—especially since she’s highly food-motivated and eager to please. Apple gets along well with other dogs, especially once she’s had time to settle in. She prefers calm playmates who match her easygoing vibe—none of that big-dog, high-speed chaos for her, thank you very much. She’s more of a “let’s stroll around the yard and then nap in the shade” kind of gal. Now, about cats—Apple says, “no thank you.” She has officially decided that feline roommates are not her thing, and we respect that. We all have our boundaries, and Apple’s just happen to involve fur that meows. She’s also a natural in public and doesn’t mind being the center of attention (she assumes the admiration is well-deserved—and she’s not wrong). Whether riding calmly in the car, walking through the neighborhood like a local celebrity, or even being picked up or dressed up for Halloween, Apple takes it all in stride. She’s the perfect blend of classy and goofy. While she’s happy to share her space with another chill dog, Apple’s biggest requirement is a loving human (or several!) who will spoil her with affection and maybe share the couch. She’d love a yard for sunbathing, a home that understands the value of quality nap time, and people who will appreciate her quiet loyalty and subtle humor. She’s the kind of dog who will look into your soul and then... fall asleep on your feet. Apple Connie isn’t just ready for her forever home—she’s ready to move in and steal your heart. If you’re looking for a dog who will be your shadow, your best friend, and your most loyal cuddle companion, Apple is your girl. Ready to bring a new furry friend into your life? Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Story
If happiness had a mascot, I’m pretty sure it would at the least resemble Koi. This boy is the definition of a peoples-dog, spreading wiggly affectionate and an enthusiasm for love everywhere he goes. To him, it is absolutely a thrill to be loved! The moment you start petting him, you can see him light up like it’s the best day of his life- tail wagging, body wiggling, whole-face smile.. Standing still for love is just not his style! Take a look at him in action- it's worth it- then come back to read more - https://youtu.be/_-aMxaMQHH4 Koi is estimated to be 1.5-year-old, he weighs 33-lbs and we suspect he is a pug mix but we cannot guarantee breed or birthday considering he is a rescue. Koi enjoys adventure and is an eager explorer who has basic leash skills and will polish to perfection with practice and the occasional gentle correction. He checks in often and is happy to deliver on your expectation. Dog-wise, Koi is a social and playful guy. No surprise right, you can just see it in him. We spent the afternoon introducing him to new dogs and watching him play and he was polite during on leash introduction, with a little excitement sneaking in here and there but it was all in a friendly nature. He loves a good playmate with matching energy- think medium-energy, fun-loving dogs who enjoy a mix of zooming around playing chase followed by extended chill-time. Koi’s ideal home will give him an outlet for his energy- walks, playdates, or backyard fun- and people who don’t mind his occasional joyful jumps or sneaky smooches (aka-face licks.) He’s a small package with a big-dog heart and a contagious joy for life. The perfect dog if you love hosting and have a dog-loving bunch of friends and family. He is friendly, outgoing, and greets new people with open paws and a full-body wiggle, so much so that people may want to come over just to hang out with him. He does jump up gently to give hugs so a family with slightly older kids who can handle his excitement would be perfect. This boy is going to be the sweetest sidekick and promises to help keep life fun. If the words compact bundle of sunshine or wiggly joy are on your list of must-have qualities for your dog, look no further Koi is your boy and his tail is already wagging for you!
